This morning Rishi Singh Gherwal sent one of his yogi friends (Rimpoche) to speak to me. At first during my exercises, I saw the two of them in the distance like seeing two ants off at a distance. Then suddenly the other yogi appeared in my subtle head. I recognized him as a Tibetan yoga teacher who was filmed previously in a video about Tibetan tumo yoga.
He began to check my practice and during a certain part, he showed me an arm-shoulder shake and said that the idea was to be sure that the whole system was energized. Every part of the subtle body which kundalini has to service should be properly energized and all the old prana, old subtle energy in all areas should be flushed out.
As if to make a joke, he said,
‘You cannot expect that the God will come and clean this up for you. You have to do it yourself. Or put it in this way, if it is something that you can do, then for sure know that the God will not come and do it for you. You will have to do it yourself.’
I said to him. These are very aggressive practices and people want something that is passive. He replied, ‘So this is not for everybody. Those who require other methods may find other systems. We use these because these give us the results we intent to get. There is no controversy about methods. It all depends on what you want to achieve and how far you are willing to go to accomplish that. One more thing, tell people that what they do not experience will not be desired by them. Once you experience other higher states, then you will be willing to work to attain those, otherwise if there is no experience, if providence does not reveal a certain level to you, there will be no reason to do practice for those accomplishments.’
‘A human being no matter how great he is cannot really force a very high experience, even though we know that many Western youths get experiences through taking hallucinogenic drugs. But the higher levels which are off limits even through drug usage cannot be experienced or even dreamt of unless providence allows one to go there. As soon as one is allowed, then one may desire to reach those places, otherwise there is no reason to do anything to transit from where you are.’
Soon after he left and Rishi came but did not say anything. I tried to resume the usual naad location meditation and then came forward in the subtle head to see if the analytical orb was misbehaving or not. It was completely silent as if it did not exist but the third eye opening was activating.
