Speed of the Astral Body

Question:

As you know very few things in the universe can travel faster than 300,000 km/s for the astral body to travel distance as I have seen described would mean that it travel massively faster than light and as far as I am aware only a few particles can travel faster than light

The astral body can travel according to the energy level it is synchronized into. If it is synchronize at a light frequency, like sunlight for instance, then it can travel at the speed of those particles.

Because we are using physical bodies, it is hard to accept that this might be possible but actually if you think a little deeper you can see that even though we are stationary and bound by gravity, the whole mass of the earth is actually rotating at a very rapid speed, and the earth itself as it rotates is moving at a rapid speed under the influence of the sun, which is not stationary. And then again the whole galaxy we are in is moving at a tremendous speed and still we are not aware of it.

The astral body is sometimes moving slowly and sometimes rapidly depending on the level of energy within it. The procedure of pranayama used in India by yogis, is a method for rapidly changing the frequency of the astral body so that it can reach tremendous speed and go to much higher levels of existence.

But even normally, the astral body is sometimes experienced to travel rapidly. For instance a person who lives let us say in the USA and who takes a job in the Peace Corp and gets an assignment  say in Burma, might find that there are dreams where they find themselves in the USA with friends or family, and then in that dream they feel the need to return to work in Burma. The person, then in the dream not realizing that it was an astral projection but thinking that it was physical, will then try to catch a plane to return to work and may even be worried in the dream since the plane will take many hours to reach Burma. And then suddenly that person will find himself waking up in as a physical body in Burma.

Most of these experiences like this are astral experiences where the astral body travelled like a cell phone signal in a few moments across the Pacific from the USA to Burma but the guy who had the experience may then rationalize that it was just a dream, because he is unable to distinguish between subtle experiences and imagination dream experience.

There is another way to look at this and that is that there is nothing that we do which is original. I challenge you to name one thing which humanity has done which has not been done by nature long before man was able to do it. It is not that we are astral projecting and we are lucid dreaming, but it is that nature is doing that. The credit is not for the psychic, or the yogi or whoever, it is for nature. Nature is the one which astral projects a subtle body out of a gross one. Nature is the one which has been producing radio waves and infrared and all such things like particle photons and the like.

Perhaps we have a lack of confidence because we fail to take nature’s miraculous aspects into account.
