Soft Bones in Pranayama Practice

Srila Yogeshwarananda had me work on what he termed as the soft bones in the body. This is the intestinal track of tubes which processes all food eaten by the mouth.
The great yogi considered this as the soft bones in contrast to the bones in the body which are hard crystalline structures which produce bone marrow, new blood cells. In diseases like leukemia, the bones malfunction, the person becomes anemic and the blood no longer serves the purpose of providing energy to operate the body. The person feels pooped both physically and psychologically because the subtle body which is the composite psychology is affected due to getting a low level of pranic (subtle) energy.
During this session, Srila Yogesh showed me how to infuse the intestines themselves as a separate specific pranayama practice. This consists of introspectively reaching inside near the center of the coiled apparatus, and then infusing energy through the intestinal tubes so that all apana (carbon dioxide) is extracted.
When this is done one feels like there is a dark center to the intestinal mass and then this turns into a globule of dark energy. It rises and before it reaches the center of the chest it disappears.
In a yoga siddha subtle body there is no counterpart of the intestinal tubes and therefore one has to eventually burn-blast this system out of existence in the subtle body. If this system remains, then one will inevitably take another material body since the kundalini will feel the need for gross foods and will be attracted to the survival –existence world where it can procure that.
