Is this astral projection?

Hey there,

About two years ago I had this dream where I would wake up like everything was normal but I couldn't speak or move. I would have to fight with everything in me to just get out of my bed. I was very scared and then I would wake up.. only to be in the same situation again. Every time I would "wake up" the dream would be a little more scarier than the last one. There was always ghost in my room that I would try to run from and it was that fear that would blast me back into my body.. or at the time "wake" me up.

In this dream ill "wake up" about 6 times before actually waking up in real life. I was sooo afraid I would keep myself awake all night for fear that it would happen again.

This strange dream has happened to me about 15 times since then. All of these dream have one thing in common.. there is always an unknown ghost just looking at me.

I started praying every night for them to go away or to leave me alone and I eventually bought a dream catcher and I didn’t have the dream again.

This now brings me to my question. Yesterday I decided to take a nap and for some reason I planned on astral projecting. This is something I have never tried to do. So it was a very spur of the moment decision. I was lying in bed concentrating on my window and I felt my body tingling. I was really excited! But the tingling sensation became so intense I felt like I was being crushed. I then woke up in the same dream I had before. I couldn't move and I felt the presence of a spirit. I wanted to scream and I couldn't I finally was able to move and tried running to find my sister. I then had the same problem where I wake up over and over again not being sure if im actually awake or still dreaming.. My question.. What is going on? im so curious but very weary at the same time. is this astral projection and if so does anyone have any advice for me. What is this dream?

MiBeloved's Response:

This is a sleep paralysis experience. Circumstances which occur while this is happening are not usually connected to this but is coincidental. If you end up in a disreputed part of a city, and then you fall due to a heart attack. You will more than likely be frisked by people of that neighborhood. But that does not mean that the heart attack and the criminal elements are related. It is just that when you are in a bad way, someone might take advantage of you.

Sleep paralysis is the astral body not being in sync with the physical body, so that when you try to move the physical one you find that you cannot operate it as usual.

Usually when the astral body comes back into the physical one, it gets in sync so perfectly that you do not notice the fusion of the two bodies. You wake up as that physical person and you go about your business with or without memory of dreams or astral contacts. But if the astral body does not synchronize properly, you immediately notice that something is amiss. You try to get up as the physical form and you find that it is not working as usual. So you might panic or freak out.

The next time this happens, if it does happen try to remember that it occurs due to the astral form not fusing properly into the physical one.

MiBeloved's Response:

The ghost or any other fearful apparition is there because of a fear energy in your mind. The fear energy is a real psychological force in your mind and the ghost is a real being in the astral world. The fear energy causes your astral body to be on a level of existence where the ghost is present. If you get rid of the fear energy, your astral body will no longer be in sync with any ghost or fearful reality in the astral world. It will be aware of a higher dimension or of one in which nothing spooks you.

MiBeloved's Response:

The tingling sensation is part of the process of either the separation of the astral from the physical or the fusion of the astral into the physical.

Usually it is the separation of the two bodies. The subtle body’s energy becomes super-energized when it separates from a sober body. If it separates from a drunk body or from a body which used certain opiates or depressants, it will become de-energized. If it separates during taking of LSD and similar hallucinogenic drugs, it will be super-energized.

Usually this takes place and the person is not aware of what happens because the person’s attention is usually not tuned into what is going on the astral plane where the energization takes place.

Yogis in India do special meditations just to gain awareness of the separation process because it happens every time the physical body sleeps.

In a way you are lucky that this is happening to you, because many people try for years are never able to observe anything about how the two bodies separate. Usually you are aware of your physical body just before falling asleep and then you become aware of your astral body dreaming and that is it.

How the astral body leaves the physical body is a great secret of nature which nature seems to hide from everybody.

When this sleep paralysis takes place if something is really scary, the astral body will snap into the physical one in sync and you will wake up physically. This also happens when a person has an astral encounter and feels danger. At that time the astral body is snapped back into the physical one and the person wakes up as their usual physical self with fearful feelings and spooky memories.
