Materialistic problems, social problems, would be solved out by themselves even without your having to bring that to the attention of the deities (devatas). Therefore I want to ask you to please not bother the deities about such things. Just have confidence that these thing will be solved out in the course of time by the power of the prakriti energy, material nature.

My second request and this is serious, is that you no longer worship Lord Shiva, Mahadeva, in the lingam form. This is not a good idea. If there is worship of lingam which someone else is doing or if it is at a temple puja, then you should respectfully participate but not otherwise. For you Lord Shiva should be worshiped as the Dada, the old father. A daughter will not normally have anything to do with the lingam (sexual organ) of the father, if you know what I mean.

To worship Lord Shiva use a Shiva form as a yogi in Himalayas. And when you need to worship Mata Devi, then you can worship her alone as Durga Devi sitting on the lion or you can worship her sitting with Lord Shiva when Lord Ganesh is present.

Shiva Lingam is usually represented with the sexual privacy of Durga Devi as the base but as their infants we are not concerned with that. Their sexual life is none of our concern.

If you can comply with this then our relationship may continue. I may be able to help you in so far as I am proficient in any specific part of yoga practice. If on the other hand, I am advising you to worship Shiva lingam, then Mata Durga will kick me away, and then my life will be ruined. A mother does not like that her son sees her in terms of her sexual relationship with the father.

Your adoration of Lord Sun, Surya Narayana, is very good. Keep this practice going but make a little change and try not to ask for anything which has to do with your materialistic or social life. If you can gradually change this, then Lord Surya may assist you more in the spiritual part of your life.

Having taken a body in this life, you are obligated socially to the family and society in which you are in, but nevertheless have confidence that nature will provide for that. There is no necessity to ask the devatas for that. What we need from the devatas is help with spiritual advancement.

With Lord Surya, begin by asking to be reinstated in your yoga achievements from your past life, so that energy from Lord Surya would gradually dissolve out the blocking energy which caused you to be separated from your achievements in the past life. This will cause that your subconscious information of yoga from your past becomes manifested into your present mind and then you can make more rapid advancement.

Asking the devatas for spiritual help while at the same time remaining focused on materialistic social life is a dead end. They cannot give the help unless you release yourself from the focus from the present social situations.

Regarding the vibrations felt.

These are occurring mostly in the subtle body, when the observing self (atma) is being shifted over to the subtle body. Because of attachment to the physical body, the self tries to remain with the physical system. However the self should make an effort to go with the subtle body either as it is separated out of the physical system or remains interspaced into the physical system with full awareness of the subtle body mostly.

By looking down in the subtle body when this takes place, you will over time get some locational understanding of the energy circuits of the subtle body, regarding its nadis and chakra system and also its other energy fields.

Once you are able to keep the observing self in the subtle body, then by remaining centered, you may enter samadhi states. To get some clear understanding about this please read Patanjali Yoga Sutras.

To understand the subtle body and how it shifts out of the physical system see my book, Astral Projection.
