During breath infusion this afternoon, I had a strange experience, a very unusual one, which is to see the configuration of the psyche as a tightly packed slightly opened lotus flower. The colors were red and black, dark red in the center and black on the perimeter.

It is unusual to see one psyche just as if one were viewing the psyche of someone else and to see it as a collective living force.

This is reminiscent of the Tibetan Buddhist mantra of om mani padme hum, where mani is a jewel and padme is in the lotus flower, except that in this case the jewel was viewing the lotus from a distance and was not centered in it.

As for the significance of the colors of red and black, do not even ask about it. It just happened to be that color when I saw it.
