Swami Atmananda sent me a mental message, stating that I should give this information about this kriya.

This concerns occasions when the sex energy had refused to take passage through the base chakra and it acts on its own to create an upward rush of energy.

When this happens kundalini shadows or follows the sex energy upward and they meet in the head in a blast of bliss.

A question arises as to why the sex energy avoids the standard kundalini path on these occasions. The answer is that when the sex energy of an advanced yogi is attracted to sexual intercourse, it may fail to complete that sexual involvement and it may go upwards instead. This happens to those yogins who have effectively sealed off the passage of sex energy from sexual intercourse. Since the system is sealed any effort of the energy to go through the sex chakra results in an upward movement instead, and this is great for the yogi but it does alert him to his breach of celibacy.
