Sex and Yoga Practice

Kundalini rose today several times during the exercise session. It penetrated the flesh and nerves in the neck, feeling like micro bubbles of bliss energy.
After that occurred, Rishi Singh appeared in my consciousness and began explaining that just to have kundalini rise through the spine is insufficient for getting a yogi to a higher loka. The word loka is Sanskrit for existential zone. It is pronounced as loak or loaka, rhyming with the word cloak.
Existential zone means a place where one can exist with others who are in the same frequency range. For example on this planet there are demarcations or borders in countries, in communities and in cities. In some areas, there is high security and one cannot enter without special permission. There are also prisons which are designed primarily to keep people confined but which also serves the purpose to keep unconfined people from entry.
On the whole on this planet there are tight restrictions for existence physically, which are enforced by nature. For instance one has to have a certain type of body to live at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean. Even if one is the greatest engineer, still one cannot live at the bottom of the ocean using just a human form. All the same the creatures who live on the bottom won’t survive for long if they were confined to a land space where humans feel comfortable.
In the hereafter, there are many of these existential zones, which are called loka (loaks) in Sanskrit. A yogi is carefree in everything but where he or she will go after leaving the present body. He or she wants to go to the highest dimension possible to be with divine beings there, abandoning the social associations we are currently familiar with.
The problem is that to get there, one has to have a suitable subtle body which is vibrating at a corresponding frequency. On this planet, sometimes even though one has friends in another country, still one cannot get a visa to go there. It is the same in the hereafter. I might know a great yogi who has reached a certain high plane of existence but that in no way gives me the right to go there. He can come down to a lower plane where I am located or he can send a telepathic message to me but for my entry there, my subtle body has to be up-energized.
What happens with a yoga guru is this. After a disciple practices for some time and realizes the situation of these higher dimensions, he or she inquires of entry to those higher places, and then one is told, “You will have to do this practice and that practice, to get your subtle form to change to a suitable frequency.”
Sometimes, a yoga guru graduates to such a high plane, that the disciple is unable to reach him to inquire about the requirements. Then what happens is that a message is found in the subtle world about how to qualify. That message may be sent by the yoga guru, or he may have left it on a subtle plane or from his existence when he was on that plane, a vibrational energy was left which gives that message.
The method of transmittance is not the issue because as soon as the student yogi has made enough effort and has advanced, the message becomes evident. In cases where a yoga guru was unable to leave a message and where there is no energy anywhere which would inspire the yogi on the required methods, the yogi guru usually descends from the higher plane and gives instructions into the mind of the student.
Such a student has to be non-argumentative, non-critical, and very respecting of the guru, otherwise the student’s attitude itself bars the student from reading the message.
After kundalini rose through the neck, through the flesh, nerves and spine, not just through the spine alone, Rishi began to say this,
“When one first begins to do yoga, one idea about it has to do with material existence and the exposure one had in that particular body, especially sex desire and the other ways and means of pleasure experience.
“The infant’s first idea of pleasure is twofold, based on feelings and based on taste. What is the infant feeling initially besides its own body? That is the mother’s body. What does the infant usually taste at first after birth? That is the mother’s milk. Thus these two experiences, the sense of touch of female form and the liquid from female breasts are the essential experience. From this all the other experiences gradually become evident.
“If you take the infant away from the mother, the infant cries. If you deprive the infant of the mother milk or try to substitute something else the infant protests.
“Later sex urge develops and the mother loses significance because the infant finds that it is attracted to other bodies of similar age for sexual fulfillment. All of this is designed by nature but the infant takes it as if he or she crafted it.
“In all respects the infant is a nobody initially, a social nothing. It cannot contribute anything to society so it is worthless. Thus the parents try to give some value to it by training it in how to behave and how to function with usefulness.
“The child has to go to school to increase its value to society and to achieve some status for the family. All along the way, it is distracted by pleasure, especially by sexual pleasure. The two most troublesome and demanding compulsive organs are the tongue and genitals. Both of these organs rule the entity with an iron hand, saying, ‘Eat this, eat that, unify me with this, unify me with that.’
“Thus when the entity comes to yoga, these two organs try to control the practice, especially the sexual organ. Since there is really little use for the organ in yoga, the entity is perturbed about how to get sexual pleasure through the exercises. Subsequently tantric sexual practices of all sorts have entered into the practice of yoga, a place in which they are inappropriately applied.
“Kundalini is the root cause of sex desire and of taste impulse. Therefore one must come to terms with that reality by raising kundalini and causing it to abandon its sex development. To do this kundalini has to be trained to go upwards instead of going downward through the pleasure nerves in the genitals.
“Nature’s way is taste and then create sex hormones from what is tasted, and then use those hormones in sexual expression. Let us review that passage. First the tongue and mouth, then the intestines, then the sex hormones are manufactured, then the sex pleasure is derived.
“That is the natural way. Now let us review the yogic method. First again there is taste, then there is the intestines to extract energy from what is tasted, but then the sex hormones are manufactured and then what? Then the energy is made to go upward, abandoning the passage through the genitals.
“However if one came to yoga after having much sex fulfillment, one is tormented by the memory of that and so one has a difficult time changing the habits of kundalini. At first when kundalini rises, a person might be surprised to find out that it could give pleasure in another way by going upwards as contrasted to the natural way of going downwards through the pleasure nerves of the genitals. But later as one practices, one can become accustomed to the upward rise and the bliss energy that is expressed when that happens.
“As one advances one must give up the attachment to this bliss energy and really focus on distributing kundalini evenly through the entire psyche.
“Why should kundalini only pass through the spine, leaving the rest of the psyche without a sufficient infusement of higher energy? The entire psyche should be infused and then when one passes from the gross body, there is a chance that one will go to a higher dimension and one might be lucky to be with divine beings like Krishna and Shiva. Otherwise, yes, one might have a vision or a sudden experience at death, but it will be a flash then one will find oneself again entering the sexual energy of new parents on earth, and coming out again as a little helpless baby. What has God to do with it? It is the natural way.”
