Seeing Inside the Subtle Body

This morning during breath infusion I did an advanced practice which consists of a vacuum draw-up. This system of infusion process is totally different to the one where one pushes down fresh air into the system pass the navel and then around the pubic loop to cause the kundalini to come up the spine. For this practice, one should have mastered that initial loop system.
If one has not mastered that, then one should keep this notation for later, when one will be in a position to apply these instructions.
In this effort, the trunks, thighs, legs and feet of the subtle body should be permeated with light (as in sunlight). Those areas should be filled up with the fresh astral energy which comes in due to the breath infusion. One should be able to look down into the subtle body during practice to see multi-colored pixels of energy in every part of the subtle system.
Once this is attained, then one should shift the focus to the chest of the subtle body. While doing the breath infusion one should pull up an energy which will seem to be going downwards from inside of the chest, down to the lower trunk. This will seems to have a faded whitish color like the color of mucus.
As one does the breathing this energy will seem to be reversing direction where it is going up instead of going down, and evaporating as it moves upwards.
There is a verse from Patanjali which explains how a yogi gets to see the inner layout of the subtle body:
नाभिचक्रे कायव्यूहज्ञानम्॥३०॥
nābhicakre kāyavyūhajñānam
nābhi – navel; cakre – on the energy gyrating center; kāya – body; vyūha – arrangement, lay out; jñānam – knowledge.
By complete restraint of the mento-emotional energy in relation to the focusing on the navel energy-gyrating center, the yogi gets knowledge about the layout of his body. (Yoga Sutra 3.30)
