Reaching Brahma's Celestial Place

Deity Appeal.

This morning during the meditation session, I was shown a method used by siddha yogis to reach the Brahma deity. A question as to why one would want to reach that deity may be entertained.

Siddha yogis who want to go higher cannot do so unless something from a higher astral domain or someone from a divine domain requests their presence. In that sense the siddha loka attainment is a terminal place, a last stop on the travel route from here upwards.

Some hints about hither places comes to the siddhas in the siddha loka places. Then based on those hints, the yogi reaches out to go to those other places. Where does these hints come from? These hints are derived either from a yoga guru who knows about the higher places, in fact, or by a deity of those higher places, or by a recruiting agent of the deity.

But then the yogi is advised on what to do to become compatible with the deity of that higher domain. Say what you like, there is always that lingering doubt in the mind of both the personalists and impersonalists yogis as to if a deity desires to see them.

You may be a devotee of a famous deity. You may be an atheist. You may believe in just energy. Irrespective, if you are not wanted in a higher domain, then you won’t go there. On this planet there are devotees, there are energy believers who do not want to live in poverty or in an undeveloped country. They want to be well-off no matter what.

In our experience on earth, we sometimes find that wealthy people whom everyone considers to be gracious, forgiving and compassionate, are in fact vicious personalities. And still these persons live in high class communities which are barricaded off from the poor people.

Sometime a person who has nothing, who is dirt poor, who is of a lower unwanted racial stock, who has an ugly body, who has no skill to get a decent job, is found to exhibit saintly behavior.

How does one quality to be called by a deity?

====================

This kriya which I was shown which is used by some siddha yogis who want to go to see the Brahma deity, is one where the kundalini energy which courses through the spine is removed. Then the yogi continues with breath infusion, energy exchange and then after a time, a streak of energy like a thin laser beam comes out the body of the yogi. This comes from the lower center of the trunk of the subtle body. It passes through the body, through the head and goes upward until it reaches the plane of the Brahma deity. Then the yogi does this repeatedly and waits.

Will he get a reply from the deity?

He may or may not get a reply. The deity is under no obligation to respond to that. The yogi should therefore be open-minded knowing that the deity might never respond.

====================

We heard in the Bhagavata Purana (Srimad Bhagavatam) that Hiranyakashipu, even though he was a criminal turned yogi, got the Brahma deity to come to him and give boons. Brahma did not allow Hiranyakashipu to go to Brahmaloka, but Brahma left that place and went to speak very favorably with the criminal yogi.

The woman Amba who held resentment towards Bhishma performed austerities. Even though she did reach Shiva in his domain, still Shiva came to her and granted boons. Dhruva did not go to the Vaikuntha realm of Krishna, but Krishna came to Dhruva and granted boons.

People think that it is not possible for badly-motivated yogi to see a deity like Shiva or Krishna but the history of Puranas contradicts that view. People think that only good people like themselves should have relationships with a deity.

Sometimes devotees of Krishna are struck with wonder and ask the question as to why Brahma went to see such a criminal person as Hiranyakashipu who was not a devotee and who did not do service to Krishna as devotees do. In this way, people who worship Krishna question Krishna’s activities and harbor doubts about his decision making ability. Others to satisfy their ego, explain that Hiranyakashipu was a devotee in his past life and that Krishna wanted to retrieve him. In that way we fall every which way on rationalizations which suit our fancy.

If I am working hard for God, to please God, if I am a devotee of God, then why should God neglect me and take care of someone else who has no visible history of service like I do?

====================

Going to the Brahma’s place may be a real shitty situation, because once you get there you may not like the status which you have to assume in that situation.

How will you fit in?

Will you be a leader?

Will you be a nobody?

Are the people who reside there much greater than you?

Do they have better bodies?

Are they more skilled than you?

Will you be Brahma’s shoeshine boy?

Will you be the girl who picks celestial fruits which he looks at and does not eat?

Will your body in that place be devoid of sexual pleasure?

Will you be able to marry the man or woman of your dreams?

It may be that life on earth is the best place for you!

Puts a lot into perspective, to say the least.

As on earth so it is in heaven, all the same?
