Raise Kundalini from a Sex Place

In yogic lore, there is a kanda mentioned which is the lower part of the body and from which kundalini may raise. This is in contrast to the spinal passage which is known as the sushumna nadi passage.

Sexual energy in the kanda becomes a botheration at some times in yoga when the energy in it builds up and causes sexual agitation in the subtle body. To get its charge dissipated one may do rapid breathing, bhastrika, and by directing the charge to the kanda, one may ignite it and cause it to attract kundalini from the base of the spine to go upward through a central passage in the body, not even using the sushumna nadi spinal passage.
