Pranayama Negative/Positive energy Exchange

A further development occurred in relation to developing a relationship with trees, where the yogi consciously and delicately acknowledges the assistance rendered by trees for providing oxygen in return for carbon dioxide. This is done during pranayama practice, where the extraction of carbon dioxide is accompanied by a psychic action of being conscious of the exuding of oxygen from the leaves of trees.

It is specific to the trees in the area where the yogi does the pranayama practice. Infants have mothers. Infants need mothers. The infant is cared for by a specific mother, not by every mother. The infant’s appreciation does apply to all nursing mothers but it is due to a special female only. The infant cannot substitute mothers in general for the specific mother, because mothers in general did not take care of the infant. The infant got nourishment from two breasts of a specific female. The infant should not get any homogenous all-mothers-are-one idea about where the appreciation should go.

The yogi gives the appreciation to the specific trees in the vicinity of the ashram or location where the pranayama is practiced. He also realizes that the potential for this reciprocation is there in other trees in other locations, even though at the time the assistance is acquired from the local vegetation.

After getting this kriya from Sri Lahiri Mahasaya and practicing, I am now at a stage where the trees sent into my psyche a radiant energy which allowed a new development, where instead of extracting the carbon dioxide (apana energy), the input of the oxygen energy dissipated the carbon dioxide on the spot without having to extract it through the subtle lung mechanism.

In this configuration of the subtle body, the exchange happens at the cell area itself, rather than being transported to a lung mechanism as the exchange point. At the place of the exchange there is a well-wishing energy from the trees which is an added ingredient to the oxygen. This energy causes an on-the-spot exchange without having to use the lung exchange plexus which is the normal way of extracting carbon dioxide from the system and subtle apana energy from the subtle body.
