Meditation this morning after breath infusion was a direct result of the breath infusion of bhastrika pranayama, and the success with it after years of daily practice.
Funny thing is that there are stories in the Purana of yogis who did pranayama for just 6 months and by that they attained spiritual perfection. Some of these yogis migrated to Satyaloka; Some to Shivaloka; Some to Brahmaloka and some to Vaikuntha, according to those readings in the Puranas.
Some of these yogis were bhakti yogis but not of the modern type where bhakti yoga has nothing to do with the ashtanga yoga system. These were bhakti yogis who were masters of ashtanga yoga and who practiced it and attained the location of their deities who had appeared to them during the practice.
Six months of ashtanga yoga with pranayama proficiency and one reaches perfection where one transits to the divine world?
Unheard of with the modern systems of bhakti with or without any type of yoga.
After years of practice, I am now becoming proficient in a meditation practice in which the entire psyche, the entire subtle body is cleared inside of all heavy astral energy.
