Good Evening all,
Today has been another practice session day with about 40 min of Breath Infusion with more different postures.
Not much to say, as usual I end the practice with a few repetitions of Bhastrika with the standard kundalini raising posture, sometimes when sitting in a posture I suddenly switch over to Bhastrika instead of Kapalbhati, however after about 30 sec of forcefully exhaling and inhaling, it just takes a lot of psychical power and force to inhale and exhale, So I simply do Bhastrika for postures which I can't hold out for long.
Though I have a question,
Every time you get a failed attempt in raising the kundalini, how does the breath infusion actually effect the subtle body by making progress so that later on after days/weeks kundalini will almost raise in every session?
Is there any progress going on in the subtle body such as cleaning the nadis? system actually use the air/prana and make it more effective going in the trunk the more you do breath infusion?
after a while of practicing breath infusion daily, could kundalini "decide" to rise through the day without having done any breath infusion before? (as a progress from previous daily practice sessions)

Thanks for your sharing. I am about in the same boat, and will be waiting for MB's answer to your important question.

MiBeloved's Response:
If kundalini does not raise during a session and it is a thorough session say lasting for at least 20 minutes, then it means that the infusion process is not being done correctly or that the lungs are taking in air into the lung bags but are not actually absorbing the air.
This is not a mystic process. It is rather a plumbing system. For instance if you are putting air into a tire using a hand pump like a bicycle pump, then if you notice that the tire is not getting inflated and hardened, then there is problem somewhere. Either the diaphragm in the pump is defective, or the intake valve in the tire is just not holding the air which is pushed through it or the tire is punctured.
Any of those defects or a combination of them will cause the tire not to inflate and harden. In the same way, your subtle body might have these problems. So the thing to do is to be patient with yourself and keep trying.
Be sure to pay attention to the locks so that when you stop on an inhale or exhale, you pull up the belly under the rib cage. The neck lock with drawing the chin back to the throat while keeping the neck straight and not leaning the head forward should be applied.
The sex lock which is pulling up the perineum area should be applied. Do this initially by pulling back and up the urinary cut-off muscle.
The anus lock means that you pull the circular anal muscle back up into the body. The mind lock means that the mind is not wandering around and is not engaged in sensual pursuits outside the body but is attentive to the practice.
If the lungs are taking air in but not compressing that air into the blood stream, then there is not much you can do about that but to keep practicing and then over time the lungs will change their attitude.
How do you tell if the lungs are compressing the air into the blood stream?
There is a simple test, which is that when you stop a sequence and you inhale or exhale, then how long does it take before you require air. The period should be longer than usual, because if the system has compressed air in it, it will begin to distribute that air and it will not be calling for more air as it usually does. But as soon as the air is distributed you will feel the urge to release the locks and resume breathing.
As you become more and more proficient, you will observe that after a sequence you can hold the breath in or out for a long period while observing from within how the energy accumulated is being distributed through the system.
An example of this is like when I am teaching a student and he is following along behind my breathing. Then when I stop after a sequence of breaths, he also stops. I will then focus within my system to observe and supervise the distribution of the energy accumulated from pumping in those breaths. But then I may give the student a direction to take in air because I might sense that the student’s system has run out of air to distribute.
In the meantime, I am still supervising distribution and I may go on doing this for many more minutes before I begin a rapid breathing session again. Even though the student and I did the same amount of breaths in a sequence, still because my system is more efficient at compressing air, I can hold out longer.
This is like if both of us pull up at a tire repair shop for air. I am given say x cubic feet of air and you are given the same. I drive off with an inflated tire but you find that your tire is still soft after getting that air. So why is your tire soft?
I hope this has helped you to understand what is happening.

Alfredo,
Ichigo,
As soon as possible you may try to meet me for lessons in the infusion method.
Or meet someone else who was shown.
I am currently in Jessup, Maryland and will have to go to Las Vegas within a month.
Providence permitting, I plan to be in Miami area next year around March or so.
However Tobe Terrel is in Gainesville Florida at his ZEN Hostel. He knows enough to teach.
Also there are at least three people living in Brooklyn New York who are somewhat proficient.
There is also a person near Washington DC who can teach.
Sir Paul is in the vicinity of Wisconsin.
Anyway, sooner or later, I am hopeful that you could get some formal face to face demonstration.

Michael!
Thank you very much for the offer. This gives me hope and a great sense of appreciation for what you have done for me, which is a lot.
I once, a few weeks ago, sent you an email through this site asking for a meeting with you. Since I did not get an answer at the time, I thought it was inappropriate. Sincerely, I had wanted to get your darshan for a while.
The Miami time is perhaps the best choice, as I am now, unexpectedly, going through some health tribulations.

Alfredo,
I must have missed that email.
I am always available for teaching practice and especially for observing the practice of others so as to give advice on how to tighten up everything.
I am constrained by various karmic obligations but whenever possible I escape and do some teaching.
As soon as I am getting to Florida again, I will inform you.

Ichigo,
Consider making a video of your practice and sending that to me, so I can see how you are doing.
Make the file as small as possible.
There are some free large file transfer services like:
dropbox and send transfer big files
you could upload it there and then I would see your practice and can advise
This method could be used by others as well.
