Today I did a session of about 50- 60 minutes, mainly because there wasn't any resistance of my physical body and air intake, which really went good the whole session so I had to take this advantage.

Few days ago MB posted a standing posture arching the back and applying the locks, which I am really thankful for since it shows how it exactly looks like and is done with detailed pictures.

Later in session when doing the locks I think I definitely felt something going on in my subtle body, especially when having done most of the infusion in squatting posture.

Lately I have been very interested in Lucid Dreaming and OOBE.

I have been Performing many Reality Checks during the day.

Yesterday night when I woke up during the night I held my self still, not moving a single muscle (to get into paralyze state) and counting in the background, at some point I found myself half awake half asleep with very intense vibrations through my body, I tried to separate myself from the body, I did feel part of me separating, but in the end it didn't work out and I probably just fell asleep, I don't exactly remember.

MiBeloved's Response:

Try both methods, trying to separate and not trying, just being there and observing what the system does.

Try to really think over the situation, that during sleep the astral body is separated, is astrally projected, but what is missing is the awareness of that. So the real effort is to remain aware during the separation or to at least become aware of the astral body after it is separated out of the physical one.

To understand what I am driving at, consider the guy who sleep walks. Well should he then tell himself that he will command himself during sleep to sleepwalk? That would not be such a good idea. It would be better if he can realize that the sleepwalking is happening naturally even without him being conscious of it. Thus if he could catch himself in the act or if he can see how his consciousness is altered to shift into unconsciousness, he would gain much insight.

50-60 minutes and still kundalini is not rising in a dramatic way?

That must be due to the lungs not compressing the air into the blood stream. This means that genetically the lungs are unable to do this efficiently. To change the attitude of the lungs begin using a blind fold during most of the postures for breath infusion, so that the mind would internalize more.

Unless the mind does that, there is no chance that the lungs will keep the air which comes into it. You have to look down inside the body when you are doing the breathing and give mental directions to the lungs and to the energy so that it is held in the system, compressed into it and pushed down below the navel. At first your efforts to do this will produce no results but if you keep at it, that will change over time and you will be able to raise kundalini on every practice session.

I have been using a blindfold and earplugs, the earplugs are a big advantage as well when it comes to internalizing my mind even more into the body.

I have a hard time (I think at least) to understand how to make the lungs actually take the air in and push the air downward the body.. if it involves more than just mental awareness, for example placing awareness below the navel.. just that.. or "following" the air with a mental downward squeezing push feeling.. like for example, placing awareness on the hand.. if you increase awareness and pressure/squeezing on the hand (all mental)

other than that the breathing is very forceful and rapid.

I did bother 2 yogis here about getting an idea the way they do it in their perspective, to try to understand how to do it in a way that makes me understand it more in a practical way.

In a way I get the idea more or less, but still I am not really sure I get it, though I am really grateful for all help and directions I got up to this point, really appreciate it guys!.

I am sure with more practice I will get it more.

I haven’t lost any motivation in anyway.

I will keep continuing practice till I attack, hit, and raise Kundalini out of its hiding hole.

EDIT: I don't know how significant this is, but I had about 2 dream fragments in separate nights lately where I noticed myself doing the Breath Infusion, I saw myself in 3rd person doing the breathing, but I felt myself doing the breathing in 1st person.

MiBeloved's Response:

As you suspect it does take more than mental awareness.

You have to command the infused energy to move in a certain way.

But before you can do that you have to recognize in your psyche the infused energy. If there is no recognition of it, then of course you cannot even attempt to move it because you can’t act on something which you do not perceive.

The energy may not even respond to your willpower. Then what?

Or you may imagine that the energy; is here or there and it might not be because your imagination has confiscated your perception judgment, and is misleading you.

Over time after some practice for some time, you will have the intuition to know where the energy is and also your attempt to move it will operate. This will happen if you keep practicing.

By just doing the exercises, you will over time develop the required perception. A child stumbles repeatedly and sometimes the infant becomes ghastly fearful of walking but then all of a sudden the infant walks.

Keep practicing.

Dreaming about doing yoga practice is great and shows that your interest is leaking over into the astral world. This is a favorable omen.

Ichigo, I am sure that I speak for the other individual as well, it is no botheration. It is important to change that way of looking at it, and that comes when one is desperate enough not to be so careful.

So again Ichigo, get the mechanic of the process properly. That takes application and some time. Then will follow the mind/will power aspect. There is an order.

You are doing breath infusion in dream because the subtle body is picking up on the practice, and seemingly wants more prana.
