In yesterday's 2nd session of Spinal Breathing, after practice I was resting down for 5 minutes.
I started to get arousal sensations at the genitals.. it was accompanied by a rush of energy (maybe tinglings)
I felt the arousing energy down and up the body (mostly spine) getting stronger and deeper, so I surrendered to these feelings and just went with the "flow", it got more intense until the point that I felt that I am about to get a full orgasmic body experience, and senses some sort of upward pressure arousal sensation like something is about to shoot up from the groin area.. a lifting pressure could be felt at the pelvic area.. actually at that point I felt that this is it.. it's going to shoot up my spine and leaving me overwhelmed.
In the end the energies became weaker and it ended there.
Also I noticed that randomly when doing session I feel my legs suddenly being very light with ecstasy feeling to it.

Practice Session - 15/04/2013
In today's second session I played a bit around with the locks, going up and down with the breath from perineum to the brow.
At first when reaching the brow and holding the breath I only applied the root lock and Sambhavi mudra as both make a connection between each other.
Some vibrations and heat was felt at the third eye area and for a split second a nice sensation was felt inside the forehead, did it couple of more times and then when doing the same procedure I felt some heat at the abdomen and the urge to do the navel lock so I did and that all of a sudden I got a powerful kick/rush of vibrations and a lot of heat at the third eye, much more intense than the first part and covering almost the whole forehead I think.. my head/face became warm within a second, and a PINK shape began to appear but it wasn't clear enough so I can't make anything out of it.
I did this a few more times with all the locks and the same thing happened over and over.
After that just for some experiment, I tried to hold the breath and do the locks without tracing the spine from root to brow and this whole smack of heat and third eye vibrations didn't happen.
then again I traced the spine to brow did the locks and it happened again.
Also I tried to go from root to brow and do the locks but without sambhavi and still I got a rush of heat and vibrations there.
Other than that a lot of purifications symptoms can be felt daily, lasting hours after practice.

On which side is the energy leaning, towards sexual expression or towards enlightenment. What was the flavor of the energy? Usually this type of intense burst of energy is leaning in the direction of sexual expression, rarely does it have the flavor and intent of enlightenment.
The ascetic should know which flavor the energy carries.
If for instance the energy reaches the brain, then even if it began with sexual content, it will go through a transformation may cause an enlightened state. If it is expressed even in the sexual area of the body, the so called erogenous zones, it will cause enlightenment and supernatural perception if it does not have a sexual content.
This means that the quality of the energy is just as important or is even more important than the climatic release of it.

The flavor of energy that was felt was definitely that of sexual expression.

What does that have to do with spiritual insight and supernatural perception?
Or is sex your idea of spiritual perfection.

No, but then again every other idea for spiritual perfection I have read about are currently just ideas which I never really experienced them directly in a way. All I can do for now is to favor my practice.

Okay,
Then how is that energy getting into your subtle body in the first place?
And why is it polarized in that way and in no other?
Can you shift it into the head of the subtle body?
What are its effects there?
Does it have the same pleasure quotient in the head?

Hey, I will try to answer these questions as I progress. BTW, don't get me wrong when I said "but then again every other idea for spiritual perfection I have read about are currently just ideas"
What I meant is that I do believe and have faith in a spiritual perfection which isn't related to anything sexual.. but since not having any real direct experience with it that I do not know if it's really enough just to have faith and believe in something.. I mean sure I believe and have faith in it but is it really enough to think/feel that way?
