Yoga-Breath of fire practice session:

Session was challenged. Breathing was not as forceful and systematic. Body was successfully charged. The routine was modified to continue working on mid-section on downward.

 

Untamed Energy:

The energy was awakened, and the body charged promptly.

Blockage on the left side involving lower back, gluts, thigh and leg, is fighting back. This targeted session is very demanding; it mostly deals with a difficulty.

The more the blockage is addressed the more it is exposed, as it creates resistance in the form of quick back.

 

I had indication that the blockage could possibly be the result of years of athletism to include martial arts (Taekwondo), running, gym... These activities probably were already adapting my body to their demanding strength and build, with the commonly sought after added values of physical power, longevity, good health, sex appeal…Only if I knew then what I am now going through.

 

I have to back track and correct that physical condition by relaxing and elongating some critical muscles... So much for the attractive shapes of the black stallion that was in the making for future live encounters. Become a race horse or seek liberation?

 

Efforts were made to keep the awareness in the lower part of the body, in an attempt to observe and understand. Energy was not fostered upward, but to spread out in other parts of the body.

Looking down into the body in an attempt to see into the subtle body does not show anything in particular.

 

Mind focus:

Subtle sound frequency was perceptible.

Naad frequency was listened to at the back of the head with a few attempts to refocus.

 

Goals and Objectives:

> More focus on internalization and especially what goes on regarding lower part of the body during practice.

> Redefine my progress, not be so rushed by stripping practice of signs of precipitation and eagerness. Time lost will not be made up. Humble aims will assist in keeping the focus on the basics.

 

Book Readings:

The "Yoga Sutras" of Pantajali; Enlightenment in practical terms!

The book is as though a code that can only be approached by practicing yogis.

 

Subtle body ventures or interests recalled synopses:

:-) ... awoke with impressions of dream dealing with family.

:-) ... I am college student, going around on what looks like campus library, stores, hang out areas. I am with a buddy; he is looking into a store. I am waiting around for him. The desire to watch porn comes to me. Then I ask myself where is this coming from, and tell myself, this has to do with what is in my subtle body. So, I try to see into the subtle body, and look down into the lower part. I can't see anything per se, but I realize that this is the same thing I have to achieve during practice. However, because I sense that my awareness went into the genitals, my presence there caused a stimulation on the physical side. It is the union of the buddhi and kundalini in the muladhara.

:-) ... I go to the dorms, it looks like we had packed to go away and are now returning to get our stuff back out. I am hungry, I want to fix something. I cannot find my stash of food. I had packed away a nice reserve of organic grains and pulses. I get help from a couple of friends, who include my current supervisor. We go to another area to search in the cobwebs, there is a different friend and a previous romantic connection from a different faith, and she is trying to see under the sink. She had also brought food from a plate from the cafeteria; it was a meal of vegetables and beans that looked somewhat syrupy. We still cannot locate the package. That buddy decide to go eat at the cafeteria, I encourage him mentioning how nice the healthy foods are.
