PM Practice (previous evening – 15 minutes): light and brief bhastrika session.
Kundalini arose very intensely. The energy took over the whole body and was felt also around the bottom part as well, perhaps leaking out.
And, reading of "Meditation Pictorial”.
AM Practice (6:10 - 6:55):
Postures-breathing-life force energizing session for 30 minutes, including 10 minutes warm up;
Then, an attempt to meditate for 15 minutes.
Session lacked vigor. Body wouldn’t stretch. The routine was shortened to a great extent.
Kundalini Energy: The energy did not feel awakened, and was generally harder to stir. Foregrounds as presented could be observed.
When the surge would rise to the head, forceful concentration in the mind was consistently causing a light headedness, just as the charge was manifesting in the head. Attempts were made to put awareness in the lower part of the body.
Kundalini Corner:
> Many are the manifestations of kundalini energy in terms of the patterns of the foreground, the coloring presented, the intensity of the surges and the sensations felt and their types. In addition, locations of these manifestations may be related to the exercises that brought them about.
> Even though the body may not be charged at a given session, kundalini can still rise sufficiently. It arousal is dependent on cumulative effective charging of the body. This is different from meditation which is directly related to prana charging session that just ended. Perception of naad I see as being somewhere in between.
Meditation:
Naad frequency was perceptible. The body may not have been charged enough to allow for a better and longer meditation.
Goals/Objectives are observed.
Adjustment: shifting paradigm of focusing on excitements around kundalini manifestations to the basics of reading scriptures as indicated by repeated instructions and recently hard learned lessons.
In a quest to understand the best attitude to adopt towards kundalini, as the most natural energy, yet perceived as so distant and foreign.
Book Reading consisting of the "Yoga Sutras". – Not afforded this morning.
Enlightenment in practical terms!

Don’t bother with the perhaps bit. Don’t have a nonchalant attitude. Pay attention or compel the self to be attentive to these details.
Subtle body is not a void. It is not something that is infinite. It is not endless. It is actually a container just as the physical body is a container which is made of a skin membrane. This means form is real. Subtle body is real form but subtle form.
In the membrane there are set openings, just as in the physical body we find ourselves at birth as this body which has very restricted openings, like a mouth for sucking milk from the mother’s system which only yields milk from a specific place. Why not suck through your finger or ear? None of it is random.
So the subtle body also has set openings which do certain things.
At the bottom of the trunk of the subtle body there is membrane, so any leaking out is usually done through specific openings like there is a tiny opening at the lowest chakra, there is one through the sex organ chakra but it is not random.
There can also be leakage through the general subtle membrane just as in rare diseases someone might bleed through the pores of the physical body. It rarely happens. So if there is leakage, pay attention to that when you first begin the session, not only when something happens. Be on that as soon as you begin.
Why race to get kundalini to rise if you have not done the elementary part of the practice, which is to make sure those bottom locks are secured? Spend a few years working on those bottom locks and then advance up further. Don’t jump the gun and begin building a rocket ship when you have not secured even enough kerosene to light a piece of paper afire. Stick with the basics for a few years and then move on.
When you first begin to do the breath infusion, are the bottom locks being held? Are they tight? Is there any leakage then? Don’t drift off up the spine until you are sure this is achieved.

Goals/Objectives:
Adjustment-1: shifting paradigm of focusing on excitements around kundalini manifestations to the basics of reading scriptures as indicated by repeated instructions and recently hard learned lessons.
Adjustment-2: more focus on internalization and especially what goes on regarding lower part of the body during practice.
Book Reading: consisted of the "Yoga Sutras". Enlightenment in practical terms!
Subtle body ventures/ interests recalled: dealing with past marital relationship.
