(Previous) PM practice: basic stretches followed with a brief study of "Meditation Pictorial" and a reading of "Sleep Paralysis".

Practice:

Effective Prana-Yoga-Kundalini session for an hour, including 15 minutes of warm up; followed by an attempt to meditate for a half hour.

Typically today would have been a challenged and spaced out session and an impossible meditation. Upon waking up issues from unnerving family issues surfaced. I took time to write them down, (I had to). Then I was able to do practice, and to actually meditate. But once meditation was done, it was like a flood gate. So again I took more notes and then read as I ate.

Energy was readily reactive during warm up, and I easily accessed my “yoga zone”, meaning positivity and minimized resistance from thoughts, feelings, emotions and the body; as well as volition to practice.

Surprisingly, it is already getting easier to keep the eyes closed during session. That is being a great help in getting a sense of the background/ environment that is the mind field. It seems to take my practice to a new level, the path to which can be paved with a study of Meditation Pictorial. "Duh!".

There is constant change in the mind field throughout the practice. There are variations from spatial opaque darkness to indigo to blue with different gyrations and of course the speckled darkness is habitual.

With more focus there are times when there is calm in the mind field. I feel like I am in an empty room. And I can area(s) of concentration; mental power?

Belly/ core body burning was felt. It involves a burning sensation of the muscles/tissues from the belly radiating outwards into the back. It was more difficult to obtain today, so I tried until my facial muscles were burning and hurting!

Then I compressed the energy (again), pushed it downward, and as it was pulled upwards through the back, without applying locks per se, kundalini arose very bright (mostly yellow color), stable and not vibrating and wavy as usual. And more importantly there was a sense of me being there, observing.

Meditation allowed for deeper immersion into the perception of naad sound. Paying attention to naad from the start of meditation allowed hearing a very subtle almost brittle naad; that sounded like very fine bells. Any movement in the mind such as attention to a change in the mind field was causing it to fade, and it was hard to get it back. It was louder at the beginning of meditation.

Then I realized that I was deeper into the regular naad I normally hear, but also deeper than the frequency which was behaving as pulsar yesterday, with the cyclic rythm. I was aware of being at that finer frequency but also wrapped into the pulsed one, then the regular one all around.

“Be still! Stay there! And, don’t you move!”

Extended meditation and immersion is also increasing general naad perception. I can also hear it at work this morning.

Goals/Objectives are observed.

Book Reading consisted of the "Yoga Sutras".

‘Stop the influence of the Self by the mento-emotional energy, whether such energy is shallow or deep, positive or negative; so as to redirect the Self inward, by systematic retraction of the senses’.

I do not have any yogin qualities in the least degree of these standards, but only by encouragements or my own ignorance.

Subtle Dimension Interaction as vaguely recalled consisted of a social circumstance:

:-) ... I have impressions of being at some teacher convention. I was mingling among other students, as a student but I was also a teacher at the same time. I recall one more senior individual that I looked up to as a teacher…
