तीव्रसंवेगानामआसन्नः ॥२१॥ = tīvrasaṃvegānāmāsannaḥ
For those who practice forcefully, in a very intense way, the skill of yoga will be achieved very soon.
Jai Shri Krishna
Om Yogi Madhvacharya Namah
Breath infusion in the AM went well for a little over 1/2 hour.
Kundalini moves readily and answers readily to solicitations up Sushumna nadi, entering head and enlivening the crown chakra.
Naad was clearly discernible during meditation, which now has become a fixture and a blessing, for any digression from it, is easily corrected by the agency of returning to the umbrella provided by Naad.
The purpose of this incarnation, the reason(s) for taking this body, came up again during meditation today. I consider this to be critical in the life of a yogi, to know for sure what was the main reason(s) for the current, and latest, sojourn, in this material body.
This purpose could be single or manifold, and if the latter, it is, more often than not, related to each other, as in a family. It is mostly a conquering. One will know it for sure if application is exerted.
I know it and it is crystal clear to me that I have not conquered yet. Can I, with the time left? Will see. I am hopeful. If the purpose is not completed, then mostly the incarnation was a waste, and a new cycle, perhaps harder, must be taken.
The Teacher is within one as Dakshinamurthy, but outside, it manifests in flesh and blood when one is ready. The advent of re-encountering Yogi Madhvacharya was a game-changer and an opportunity to conquer. May it not be wasted!

Neo_Yogi's reply:
I understand it's very important to take advantage of this current life and to exert oneself fully to complete the purpose of yoga but, if that's not possible, do you really think one will have to work harder in a next incarnation?
I always thought that, perhaps, if one can only tread half of the way, if another material life is needed and conditions are favorable, then s/he'll have to tread just the last half of it. That's why -my own explanation- some people get good results after meditating just a couple of times when other people practice for years and get little or not results whatsoever.

Maybe it has also to do with how much powerful the pranayama/meditation technique is when one picks another body, who is to say that in the next life one will fall on this Breath Infusion again or just meditate everyday even for hours but without pranayama.. that sure will slow up the progress a lot. Not falling on the right tools.

Both made very good points...since my knowledge is limited, I will wait to see if the Acharya cares to comment.
