AM Practice

Woke up at 4:00 AM (Brahma-Muhurta). Practice was good and lasted over one hour.

Tapasyā (टपस्या):

1.    As little interaction with others as possible.

2.    Eat as little as possible. Last meal before 6:30 PM.

3.    Citric (lemon) diet, both juice and frozen grated whole.

4.    Long study session.

5.    Sunbath and solar gazing.

Svādhyāya (स्वाध्याय): Continued study of several spiritual books of the same author.

Ishvara Pranidhana (ईश्वर प्रणिधान): Reflection on the Lord, talking about It, mutually producing logical arguments about It – thus to be fully occupied with It alone.

Prāāyāma (प्राणायाम): 40 minutes breath-of-fire prânâyâma while doing several asanas. Kundalini was solicited up sushumna twice.

Sayama (संयम): 30 minutes with concentration on naad on back of head.

Dream recall: 2 dreams recalled of normal import, nothing untoward.

================================

PM Practice was fairly strong.

For a few days now I have been able to raise Kundalini up Sushumna quite speedily.

Actually, since incorporating Agnisara with rapid breathing, Kundalini rushes into the head with such force that only experience and allowing it to escape on time prevents a full-blown blackout.

Why this ease? Basically because of recent Tapasya (टपस्या) - austerities - and Saucha (शौच) - purity.

Even one Tylenol or any other drug, over or under the counter, can close Sushumna nadi and it may take days or weeks to reopen it again and surmount the blockage at the small of the back. The same with Tamasic and Rajasic food, and the amount of it.

Naad was quite strong and it was a joy to be lead by it during the meditation.
