AM Practice

Practice was good and lasted about one hour.

Svadhyaya: Continued study of several spiritual books of the same author.

Breath Infusion: 30 minutes breath-of-fire prânâyâma while doing several asanas. Kundalini was solicited up sushumna twice.

Meditation: 30 minutes with concentration on naad on back of head.

Sadhana and Tapasya Planning for the Day:

1.    Thokar Kriya in between breath-of-fire sessions.

2.    As little interaction with others as possible.

3.    Eat as little as possible, juicing + flaxseed oil/cottage cheese shake with berries and home-made almond milk.

4.    Long study session.

5.    Sunbath and solar gazing.

Dream recall: 1 dream recalled. This was a spiritual dream with Lord Shiva in it. It is a culmination of prayer, petitions, reflection and introspection.

Being bound to exert certain control on the annamaya kosha, His Lordship, protector of yogis, seeing my continuing struggle at the subtle level, mainly now with the pranamaya and manomaya koshas, with little indentation into the vijnanamaya kosha, and no experiential knowledge of the anandamaya kosha, me having being a friend of Aditya who has basked in His rays for months now, points to: a) Experimental and controlled sungazing, b) Doing an Agnisara variation under the sun with rapid breathing, c) Introducing Surya Namaskara slowly d) Surya Gayatri Mantra. This to help with control of food and sleep, and to provide the needed surplus energy to be successful at my age in the Yoga of Celibacy. It has been stressed the tremendous importance of ashtanga yoga, and not to neglect the yamas and niyamas, for otherwise the yoga practice crumbles.

Om Namah Shivaya!

PM Practice

Incorporated lemons into diet, 2 ways, juice and frozen whole lemon, then grated.

Forceful and filling breath infusion. After doing agnisara with rapid breathing, and applying locks, Kundalini arose stronger than when using the kneeling asanas. There was no solicitation or desire, so that caught me by surprise.

Naad was very strong and provided for a great meditation.
