AM Practice.
Svadhyaya: Today started reading and studying Michael’s newly released book “Astral Projection”. It is very good because, differently from others available on this subject, this one provides a yogic and mystic perspective. Of course, it also helps to be attuned to the author’s teachings.
Dedication: Mantric invocation to Lord Shiva, Lord of Yoga and protector of yogis. Practice dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Breath Infusion: Practice was shortened today because injured foot had swollen a little, and cannot be dangling too long. Injury is closing slowly, thus I compressed the whole practice into 15 minutes prânâyâma. However, I believe the quality today was better than the 30 minutes yesterday after I took heed of yesterday’s Michael’s advice; namely: Therefore one should neglect the thoughts but in a very silent and non-alarmist way. Thoughts were impacting the practice negatively. Besides, there is a factor of Bhakti and gratitude towards the kind efforts to help by the senior yogi. There was perhaps a partial Kundalini arousal.
Meditation: Meditation was conducted by concentrating in the back of the head and assuming the position of the witness for about 15 minutes.
Dream recall: One dream recalled of a good nature.
PM Practice: PM practice as usual consisted of short prânâyâmas and concentration.
