AM Practice

Woke up at 4:00 AM (Brahma-Muhurta). Practice was good and lasted 80 minutes.

 

Svadhyaya: Continued with Chapter 3 of “Bhagavad Gita Explained” – “Cultural Activity and Renunciation”.

 

Dedication: Session dedicated to Mahadeva, doing Tratak (eye concentration) on effigy of Lord Shiva for 5 minutes.

 

Breath Infusion: 45 minutes Bhastrika prânâyâma while doing several asanas. Breath infusion emphasis was on the lower trunk and feet. Kundalini was solicited up sushumna thrice.

 

Meditation: 30 minutes with concentration on naad on back of head. Thoughts continued coming from the front of head and Naad was used to obliterate them and then the meditation at the back of the head resumed.

 

Sadhana Planning and Tapasya:

1.  Doing as much prânâyâma as possible.

2.  Continue raising Kundalini up Sushumna Nadi with the objective of permanently boring sushumna open.

3.  Perfecting Naad meditation.

4.  Diet planning: Sattvic food, timing, amount, and concentration while eating very important.

 

Dream recall: Two dreams recalled.

 

The 2nd and last one is worth describing as it was with the Acharya (6th dream in as many months interacting with him and the site), in the dream I found myself with the Acharya walking on a hilly city with sidewalks with stairs (as you can find in some places in Havana, or in San Francisco), the Acharya was as he looks today, a little taller, dressed similarly as the video in the motel doing breath infusion, brown loose-fitting clothes, long sleeves pull-over, and light jacket. I told him: “did you know I can fly? I flew for a while, very close to the floor, every time I was to hit the floor a light effort was effected which continue the flight for a little while. I told him “I touch the floor every 50 steps”. He said: “you have a strong body for your age” (which is true and I have been conscious of my body, a preoccupation with the material side). We arrived at his house, a big house of colonial style with high ceilings and doors. Several people lived there, I found him using the telephone, talking to someone and saying in a singing voice: “he seems to have a problem with the number 50, let me know”. I said: “great house”. He answer “1576”, I took that to be the rent paid to live there. Note: Number 50 in dreams is said to mean “forgive and be forgiven”, which applies to me at this moment.

This kind of reaching of the thoughts to the core-self when it is in naad, usually occurs because of specific forceful associations with specific people.

 

During the meditation make no attempt to track it or research who those people are. But after the meditation is done, then you should go back and check and find out those persons and dissect your association with them to see how you can reduce the force of that association which gives those energies the power to reach you when you are in naad.

Thank you Acharyaji!

 

PM Practice consisted of 131 cycle of Thokar Kriya pranayama (over one hour), followed by a short session of Bhastrika.

 

Meditation was short, challenged by every member of the family, the neighbors and the dog.
