AM Practice
Woke up during Brahma-Muhurta (4:30 AM). Practice conducted at home was good overall. Emphasis was on prânâyâma.
Svadhyaya: Returned momentarily to “Uddhava Gita Explained” Chapter 22 “The Yoga Process”. There was an interchange in LinkedIn that called my attention, a thread by Michael “Yogi as Observer or Exploiter”, and an answer by a participant that I think missed the point. The answer, I remembered, I had read in this chapter, about what to do with the “mystic vision” and the relationship with other human beings.
Dedication: Short mantra session invocation of Lord Shiva. Practice dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Breath Infusion: 45 minutes of Bhastrika. Concentrated on making the breath infusion session as forceful as possible by increasing elasticity of the belly muscles and thus air volume intake. By this time there no sign of hyperventilation or lower abdomen burning, as the body is growing accustomed to the practice. Kundalini responds unfailingly every single time it is solicited with the kneeling asana.
Meditation: Consisted of 30 minutes with concentration on the back of the head. Naad sound was audible but low. Usual struggle to keep the concentration on target. Several visions occurred.
Dream recall: One dream recalled of the past. Recorded in log.
