AM Practice.
Svadhyaya: Continued review/study of Chapter 14 of “Uddhava Gita Explained” – “The Chief Cause of Devotion”.
Dedication: Mantric invocation to Lord Shiva, Lord of Yoga and protector of yogis. Practice dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Breath Infusion: 30 minutes of Bhastrika prânâyâma infusing breath on the navel. Continued concentration on the blockage on the small-of-the-back. Kundalini arose forcefully towards the end of the session and while doing the kneeling asanas, practically knocking me down, so I went to meditate right away.
Meditation: Naad sound was very loud, like a motor or jet engine from a distance. I was surprised and removed one ear plug, but this was no outside noise, so put the ear plug back in and concentrated on the sound. Meditation was a little deeper than yesterday, and that’s what I am trying to accomplish. There were lights in the head and 2 faces entered.
Dream recall: One dream perfectly recalled of a no-good nature. In it I was bound to do something wrong, but was prevented from doing so by an act of chance (or grace), thus reversed the bad behavior, but not for the chance intervention, I was bound to do it, that tells me how far I am from any kind of perfection.
PM Practice: PM practice consisted of the usual short prânâyâma sessions followed by Dharana, and spiritual study.
