AM Practice
Woke up at 5:00 AM (Brahma-Muhurta). Practice was good overall and lasted approximately 65 minutes.
Svadhyaya: Re-read half of “Sex You” book.
Dedication: 5-minute mantra session and Puja doing Tratak (eye concentration) on effigy of Lord Shiva using a Maalaa.
Breath Infusion: 30 minutes of Bhastrika prânâyâma while doing several asanas. Infusion emphasis was on the lower trunk and feet.
Meditation: Consisted of 30 minutes with concentration on Naad sound, which was strong coming from both ears. I tuned to naad and found its node coming from the left ear, as usual, then:
1. Went to the front of the head and found it quite empty at first. This is interesting.
2. A while later the chitavritti started to act up and I retrieved to the back of the head with naad.
Question: MiBeloved wrote: The student should also make a note as to whether naad stays with the core-self when it moves forward. If the student finds that naad does not stay with the core-self then it means for sure that the student has not completed enough sessions of naad meditation: How one knows that naad stays with the core self?
Spiritual State of Mind and Sadhana Planning:
1. Doing as much Bhastrika prânâyâma as possible.
2. Continue 2nd Kriya prânâyâma in between the 2 main bhastrika practices (AM and PM) when time permits and observe the effects. First time yesterday shows promising results although this is not conclusive yet.
Dream recall: 2 dreams recalled.

If the student finds that naad does not stays with the core-self then it means for sure that the student has not completed enough sessions of naad meditation: How one knows that naad stays with the core self?
MiBeloved's Response:
This is known because when the core self moves forward, it is actually a change in location in the mind. It moves from the back area to the middle area or the frontal area near the face. When this happens, the core self should find itself to be in the same proximity to the naad sound. In other words naad should have moved forward with the self. If naad remained at the back of the head then the self will find itself alone when it moves forward which means that the naad sound did not stay with the self.
In that case the self should go back into naad and not attempt to move forward during that meditation session.
When the core-self has done enough of the naad meditation, then when it moves forward, the naad will move with it and will remain with it very close to it as it was in the back of the head.

Thank you very much for the answer and pointers.
PM Practice consisted of a preamble of 54 cycles of 2nd Kriya pranayama.
It was followed by 30 minutes of Bhastrika pranayama in several asanas. Infusion continues to target lower trunk and feet.
Meditation was all Naad for about the same time, which after PM practice blares from both ears, its node located inside the sound of the left ear. I moved attention and the core-self to the front bringing naad with it, but it was dislodged from the front by thoughts, so I retrieved to the back of the head and naad was conducted for the remainder of the meditation. It is possible by now to remain listening to naad for longer periods with joy.
