Om Jai  Yogipadaji  Yogi Madhvacharya namaha!

2:00 am to 2:55am

For the first twenty six minutes, I did six Chandra namaskaras

and then into my regular set.

While doing the Chandra namaskaras, I felt a sensation in area of the back of the head  on the left side a few inches above the  base of the head.

While gazing inside, I experienced the usual perceptions of the visual swirls, but there was also the overall so-called darkness.

I could also see these slightly translucent bubbles coming up, or popping out of the darkness, I think years ago the Yogi said that was the prana which was being infused into the subtle body, maybe he could clarify me on this info.

Meditation session 2:57 am to 3:30 am.

The usual perception of the so-called darkness, along with this gyrating, scintillating, pulsating, oscillating energy cloud or globule along with its subtle component's of orbs randomly orbiting, and also this twinkle like small whitish object and then there is this blue dot, which is not stationary, but seemingly moving around in a motion that is akin to the jittery or erratic flight path of a bee or wasp.

Also, there was this experience of a sweet taste in the mouth, I wonder what is the cause of that.  Could it be the experience of a subtle taste, or could it be the perception of a taste relative to the breath that was being infused, anyway maybe someone could answer question?

MiBeloved's Response:

In yoga we may have more than one teacher. In fact in the Bhagavad Gita, in chapter four, Lord Krishna explained the various parts of spiritual practice and suggested that one should go to the teachers (plural see verse 4.34) to learn whatever one requires for individual spiritual advancement.

I do not recall teaching you Chandra namaskara.

Where did you learn it?

What advice did you get about its practice and the application of breath infusion to it?

It is a good idea to always know the source of a practice, so that you can question the teacher of it about what happens when you do it.

Now if you mix practices of various teachers together, one of them, or may be none of them, might be able to tell you of the outcome of that mixture especially if the mix was not done under supervision.

Suppose I teach you how to make caustic soda. Then another person, say Yogi Mahasiddha, teaches you how to make cotton fabric. Then another person, say Yogi Ospensky teaches you how to make galvanize buckets.

Now with these three skills you go off to practice by yourself where you have to supervise yourself. So then you get this bright idea that with this knowledge you can do something constructive. So then you use the bucket to hold the caustic soda, and you put the cotton fabric in the liquid. Then what do you think will happen?

Now as a result your cotton fabric just melts away because of the corrosive action of the caustic soda, so then you come to me and ask me about it. Then what should I tell you. I am only an expert at making and using caustic soda. I did not master how to make or use cotton or buckets.

What am I to say?

Sometimes students get disgusted with me and think that I am a fart because I do not give them advice about processes which they learnt from other yogis and spiritual authorities. This happens. However I am not responsible for other influences. I do not discourage students from going to other teachers but all the same I am not responsible for the results of such influence and it is not my duty to explain the impact of those processes. And the plain truth is that since I did not practice some of these other disciplines or did not mix them in a specific way, I do not have the insight nor authority to explain it.

Getting information from various gurus is fine. You are free to do that and in chapter four the various required disciplines are listed but we have to also get some supervision if we have information or process from various sources. If we take from one guru and then use his or her information without supervision, then there is a chance that if we do not know what we are doing, it may not serve the purpose intended.

Again, where did you learn it? What was the instruction about mixing it with breath infusion?

MiBeloved's Response:

For answering this question more information has to be provided as to if this is a physical taste assessment or a feature of the subtle body. Which is it? The way we can know this is through your keen observation. When this happens again try to sort as to if it is subtle or physical and let me know how you sorted it and then I can give some opinion about it.
