Om Yogipadaji Yogi Madhvacharya Namaha!
Bhastrika session began at 1:25am ended at 2:25 am.
During the session, I was able to generate a great amount of heat in the hands, through the action of rubbing the hand's together vertically and horizontally.
Initially my hands were relatively smooth, but I notice that after doing the breath infusion in a certain posture, the posture wherein one is on their knees with the hands at the side and the buttock is sitting on the heels.
I notice that when one rubs the hands together in the fashion, which I had mentioned earlier that the hands seems to go from a smooth texture to a coarse one, and so when one rubs the hands together up and down left forward and backwards that this intense heat is generated.
What is the nature of that heat? Is it the prana being stored up in that area, anyway, I notice afterwards that when you cover your face with those heated up hands, that the heat in the hands is dissipated.
What causes the heat to be dissipated into the face and skull?
I also notice that there are different levels of coarseness experienced in the hands after one has rubbed them together.
What causes the coarseness with its varying levels?
First of all, what is the purpose, or what end is one trying to achieve by the rubbing of the hands?
How is that action related to the breath infusion before, during and after the said session?
Why does one cover the face with the hands after the heat is generated?
Also, during the session I notice that the so-called dark space was permeated by the faintly reddish hued energy.
Does anybody know what is the reddish energy?
Post concluded at 4:36 am!
The energy is perceived by me on a regular basis, but sometimes it is more intense at other times it is very faint.
What causes the varying intensities of this energy?
Is it indicative of the different levels of the rajasic energy relative to the quality of the pranic intake in conjunction with one's dietary intake in general or in particular?
Meditation session began at 2:30 am
Not much to report the usual perception of the so-called dark space, but admittedly the overall space was very quiet a soothing darkness one that has been my constant companion.
No visualizations, nor sounds, or any of that kind of stuff, but there were a few thoughts of some individuals popping up in the space, other than that everything was very peaceful.
Most people would be bored in that state of perception, but for me it is very comforting, because it’s always available.
Obeisances to All of the Meditationtime Group Members, may they all have a very productive day with their practice!

Great Questions! hope for some answers as well!
I can relate to the hand rubbing thing. When I do that I as well feel a great deal of heat coming from my hands. At first it burns but the more I do it the more smoother it gets. I also noticed that when I do the rubbing that I feel suddenly my whole body getting on fire, I don't know if this is just a coincidence, still pretty neat.

Namaste and good morning to you Thomer Yogiji!!!
I don't feel the heat all over the body, just in the hand's, that doesn't mean that the heat is not in my body, could mean Iam not that sensitive to it or I'am just in another dimension where it's perception doesn't register.
Maybe you could address that question to some other member's like devaPriya Yogini, Alfredo Yogi , and also Yogi Madhvacharya for they seemed to have a vast knowledge relative to the pranayama process and how it effect's the subtle and gross bodies.
The question of what causes this heat to be generated in the hands, and what causes it be dissipated once they contact the face, what is the value of it?
By the way after rubbing your hands and after generating the heat put both hands to your face, you will notice that the heat is dissipated, which most likely means that the energy which is indicative by the heat in the hands must have went into the face and then the brain.
Also, while covering the face do some rapid breathing and tell me what you feel in the body or the mind during the breath infusion, and also, after, please let me know, okay?
Ask Michael about what causes the hands to heat up and what causes the heat to be dissipated once the hands contact the face.
Also, how the heck is all of this related to the flow of the inward and outward air, how are they related, ask him questions along that line, okay?
Farewell Thomer, I hope that you have a nice day.
Thanks for the feedback.
