तीव्रसंवेगानामआसन्नः ॥२१॥ = tīvrasaṃvegānāmāsannaḥ
For those who practice forcefully, in a very intense way, the skill of yoga will be achieved very soon.
Jai Shri Krishna
Om Yogi Madhvacharya Namah
Today I woke up at 2:30 AM and wrote down the details of that long and winding dream (astral tune-up).
At the end of the pranayama session (35 minutes) I had an "adesh" (command, order) to do the practice all over again. This happens rarely, but when it does, it is unmistakable, and I must obey the adesh, so the second part extended the whole breath infusion session to a little over one hour.
Needless to say, the mind was ready for meditation, and it fell into silence and tuned to Naad without much effort. Towards the end, there was an opening of the 3rd eye showing a brightly lit tropical beach.

Jai Yogi Kripamaya!
On the Astral-tune up post: Notice that the post stands by itself, and it is not related to the practice session directly. The dream occurred at night. However, everything is finally related, somehow, to the practice session, for the practice increases awareness of the subtle body, and that is reflected during sleep.
Regarding waking up early, I have been aware of your schedule and your strong will for a while, and both have been a source of inspiration to me. I also, like you, like to take some time before the practice in the AM, to ease up into it slowly and not abruptly after waking up.
