PainKillers and Yoga

I want to again confirm that anesthesia does affect the base chakra. It does in fact shut it down.

I had some study of this when I was in South Korea some time ago and had a superficial surgery, the anesthesia and also any pain killing medicines shut down the base chakra.

Use of any of these substances for long periods of time, especially in elderly years and near death of the physical body is definitely counterproductive to the aims of kundalini yoga practice and might imperil the person concerned to cause the astral body to maintain a very lower energy level in the hereafter.

I had a tooth extraction some days ago and the dentist applied 5 applications of anesthesia. The result of this was a two day shutdown of the base chakra, even physically where the lower intestines and the rectum shut down completely and abandoned their duties in terms of processing and evacuating waste.

One can just imagine what happens to persons who spend their last five years or even five months in a terminally ill condition in which they have to take pain killers and anesthetic chemicals into the body.

What would be the condition of their base chakras?

Would that affect them in the hereafter?

Does that have an impact on the person’s eligibility to go to a heavenly world hereafter?

Your best approach is to stay away from painkillers, sedatives and any numbing substances. If you must use them, then only do so for short periods and resume your kundalini practice immediately. Take nothing for granted. Check to be sure that your lower intestines and rectum is just as sensitive as it should be and has not shut down or slowed to create a waste process traffic jam.

===========================

I had further evidence today about the fact that the anesthetics cause a shutdown of the base chakra. This occurs noticeably in the material body but one cannot know that took place unless one was keeping a close tab on the eating-to-evacuation time span in the body.

If you do not know what the average time is supposed to be for the train to come in, then if the train never comes or if it is late you will have no idea about it. If however the train is due at a certain time and it never arrives, you will suspect that something is amiss and will inquire and investigate.

Checking I found that the anesthesia has immobilized the rectum and the sigmoid colon, so that the muscles there ceased their movement and did not respond to a will power command for evacuation. They refused to act like intoxicated men who just do not hear anything which is said to them.

You can just imagine what this would be like near the end of the body in the elderly years when one is laid up in a hospital and has to deal with a system which is shut down due to taking painkillers and anesthesia.

Makes a lot of sense. I have noticed from my experience with dental visits that these substances need to travel out once injected into the system. As they put the part of the mouth to sleep, so they will other parts of the body they traverse on their way out. I as much as feel them in my cranium for at least a couple of hours afterwards. When they are finally about to be eliminated I can easily accept that they would numb the evacuation system, which in turn will not move stuff out.

The real danger is what happens in the subtle body. One has to realize that many physical substances have subtle counterparts and that these affect the subtle body.

So if in the elderly years one takes these substances for months or years, will that have an effect on what happens hereafter.

I remember one religious sect I was in where they felt that it did not matter what happened on the physical side so long as one chanted the name of the deity of the sect, but that is total hogwash, because in the first place if the deity cannot reverse the elderly years sickness, then it is foolish to accredit the deity with doing anything about the subtle effects of that on the subtle body. Why has the deity no power over the physical and then have power suddenly over the subtle after death.

The truth is that these effects carry over to the other side with no interference from the deity. Your body is your problem not the deity's. You have to be attentive and protect yourself from subtle body degradation.
