ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय (Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya)

This is the Krishna (Vishnu) mantra used in Thokar Kriya pranayama, as devised by Shyama Charan Lahiri Mahasaya Guruji.

This is Krishna mantra par excellence. This is the principal mantra from "Śrīmad Bhāgavatam" (Bhagavata Purana, the scripture of Krishna). Also found in Viṣṇu Purāṇa.

In the Gita, Krishna asked devotees to:

सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज ।

अहं त्वां सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः ॥१८- ६६॥ (18-66)

Acharya's translation: Abandoning all traditional conduct, take refuge in Me alone. I will cause you to be free of all faults. Do not worry.

This mantra helps us to live this dictum.
