Naad hold / Forward Blank

When a yogi finds that he became dedicated to naad sound where it feels that it is the right thing to do in meditation and where it seems that he can feed on naad, the way an infant calmly and assuredly feeds on its mother’s breast, then the yogi should be sure to always adhere to naad node or to the place in naad where naad seems to be the deepest and most concentrated.

When this relationship of the yogi’s reliance on naad gets very deep and assured, the yogi should, during the meditation, come forward in the frontal head space of the subtle body, but if in moving forward the yogi finds that the same imaging, thought-production and other chitty-chat begins, he should immediately turnabout and adhere to naad and remain with naad for the rest of the meditation session.

Again and again the student should test like this to be sure that the frontal part of the subtle head does not have any cittavritti mental or sensual impression which related to the materialistic side of existence. As soon as it is discovered that the system has these agitations, the yogi should turn about and return to naad forthwith and not go to the frontal part of the head during that meditation session.

The student should also make a note as to whether naad stays with the core-self when it moves forward. If the student finds that naad does not stay with the core-self then it means for sure that the student has not completed enough sessions of naad meditation.

As the student moves forward from the back of the head where naad is most pronounced, the naad energy-vibration should stay with the core self as it moves forward. The core-self should enter into a blank space where the cittavritti activities of the mind used to occur. Technically speaking this is the default location of the buddhi intellect organ but in that state, there will be no objective perception of the organ and the yogi has to be confident that even though the buddhi organ is invisible, it is present nevertheless.

If the blank space is there it will feel like falling gently into an empty space which has a floatation feeling within it. If the yogi reaches that place, then he should stay there with naad in this place.

The only difference now should be that when he is at the back of the head, he is there with naad resonance surrounding him on all sides except that a part of naad is a node or a focal point of its emanating vibration; while when he is in the frontal part with naad, he will be aware of the blank floating space, the core-self and naad simultaneously.

In the blank floating space sometimes it will seem that the core-self forgot itself for a few moments and then it will remember itself again or become aware of itself objectively again.

Now this practice should be done for months until the student reaches a more advanced stage where there will be spiritual vision of the chit akash sky of consciousness.

Sometimes while waiting in meditation with naad at the blank space, suddenly there will be light which is outside of the darkness which surrounds the core-self, and then that light will be seen but not with eyes. This will be vision without the use of even subtle eyes. This is a type of omni-vision. However this light will not last long in its initial showings. The yogi will have to meditate for some time in this state in silence, patiently, before any consistent supernatural perception is established.
