My Life in a Dog's Heaven

It is interesting how one creature’s hell is another one’s heaven. Right now I am living in a dog’s heaven which is an air conditioned building provided by a human being for three dogs and two cats. The interesting thing is that the animals have absolutely no responsibility for anything but their leisure.

Every morning when they rise to face the sunlight, it is only thoughts about how to spend their day’s leisure by lying around. One of the dogs is presently on a couch where it lays on its back with its belly and legs up, enjoying the nice accommodation. It may as well have passed away and gone to heaven to be in the utmost luxury and comfort.

There is a big dog which lies around here and there. Every so often it bites itself vigorously in the effort to take whatever hell has seeped into its heavenly life. It is thinking,

“What sort of heaven is this with things itching and scratching? This is not a complete heaven. This is a heaven with distress for me the big dog and easy life for those small dogs. The God of this heaven must like the little dogs more than he favors the big ones. O well, it is better to be itching here than to be out there in the jungle.”

This is what I love about this site.. seeing reality as it is without any illusions and delusions in the way.

Jai Yogi Madhvacarya!

Very interesting, the relativity of creature comforts.

Though in a lower species, still their existence is more or less a okay relative to the materialistic view of comforts.

I guess, they were the ancestor's of the said people involved, the entities in those animal bodies must have taken care of their present owner's in a very, very, very nice way or how else could they have in this present existence have such a easy going life, or as one would might conjecture, this could be a strange quirk of fate.

Does the transmigration of an animal subtle body to a human physical body after it dies depends on the vibration quality level of that particular subtle body? if that's the case, animals don't do any spiritual practices to archive that.. so how will that happen? by chance?

Does the animal subtle body have to attain a human physical body to attain Moksha in the end? Can it go without?
