My health insurance in the astral

Last night in the astral world, I was with a man who was a music deacon at a United Methodist Church in Hattiesburg Mississippi. I spent some 6 years working at the church working as a maintenance custodian for next to nothing. With the money however, I raised a family.

Even though the salary was just about minimum wage, somehow by the grace of Jesus Christ it was sufficient. I really noticed that doing that job was a way of paying back to Christ what he did for the family line I took this body in. It wasn’t that I was paying him back but rather the ancestors of the body who benefit from their participation in Christianity were using the body to pay him back. The effect-energy of their previous actions and of the benefits they got from Christ, were operative in providing the opportunity for that employment and inspiring the body to act in a way which was reciprocal to Christianity.

In the astral world, I met with the music deacon. The first thing he asked about was health insurance. He wanted to know if I had coverage. You can imagine that one subtle body meets another and the questions concern the material body only. In fact one of the persons thinks that the subtle body is the material body.

He wanted to know if I had seen a dentist recently and why my missing front teeth were not repaired. He began to enumerate the glories of having health insurance to cover the cost of medical expense, to get check-ups regularly.

I tried to explain to him that the missing teeth were due to a senior’s mistake in the youth of the body and that it was not important to repair it because it is a result of an historic action which need not be forgotten.

He looked at me with severe pity, as if he would refer me to psychiatrist. Anyway we parted on a friendly note. Still, in the back of his mind was the idea of health insurance. He was convinced that I ought to get it before it is too late.
