Yesterday I took only fruit, ginger chews, and liquid for my meals and did not eat any solid food meals. Why..just felt like I needed to give my internal organs a break. Normally I eat pretty regularly throughout the day as I try to maintain an optimal weight for my day-to-day duties at work. This one day off from eating had a noticeable impact in the following ways:
1) Lighter and more restful sleep
2) Less nasal allergy-like activity immediately after waking
3) Better smelling breath before brushing my teeth
4) Easier breath infusion
My breath infusion went well and sat to meditate. Initially naad was clear and present everywhere. After five to ten minutes, I felt a noticeable shift or tingling in the lower chakra area and then my third eye orb became active and I noticed a concentrated yellowish ball of light rays in the third eye orb area. It remained there for some time and then shifted into other diffuse configurations less brilliant. I could have kept meditating but the hand of time was calling and I rose from meditation.

I agree with the above as well. I also did a 2 day fast with just fruit. 1 cup of fruit diced apples and black raspberries. I woke up with more zest for the day, my thinking was clearer and I get a morning message on how to start my day.
The following day Saturday I had to have lunch with 2 30 yr old females. One mentioned that my birthday was coming up. Then asked how old I was going to be? I replied "what would your guess be?" They said "about 40" I then revealed I was born in 1952.
I have been advised to fast 1 day a week drinking only water or FRESH juices.
