What is Pranayama? It is the stepping stone of the Yogi, or in other words the foundation, the helpmate of the Yogi in controlling his enemies—freeing him from diseases. Rishi Singh Gherwal
Breath Infusion: 1 hour Bhastrika, which is now becoming routine in the morning. Twice, at the middle and at the end of the practice, tried the kneeling postures (MB) followed by the abdomen/lower back lock. The mind almost goes out and there follows a deep feeling of peace, twice had tingling at the back of the neck.
Meditation: Tried to concentrate on Naad sound by the right ear, which was quite dim. Used the shortest breath (Udana Air) to concentrate on the Brahmarandra and bring the mind back to this point.
Dream: Had a very clear and distinct dream of a personal nature. It is obvious that I am more and more able to recall dreams daily, a result of the Pranayama practice and diet changes.

One more thing...years ago when I did Kriya yoga under Swami Hariharananda, at the end of the meditation we did Jyoti Mudra (Yoni Mudra in H Y Pradipika), and the star on the brow chakra showed up almost every time clearly. We were told to concentrate on it, and also on the Divine Sound (Naad sound), even now when I meditate after Pranayam, if I do this Mudra either the doughnut pattern form of the Chakra (often bluish in the center) or even the star shows up, which with time loses its contour and becomes grosser until it loses its points...is this star the real thing?
