Meditation / The Waiting Game

The minimum acceptable result from breath infusion practice is the rise of kundalini or the burst of compressed subtle energy in the psyche, at least once during practice. If this fails to happen then something is definitely amiss.
If one cannot achieve this, then one should get an expert to check one’s practice. It can definitely happen because of the scientific approach of this practice, where if one actually gets the breath energy in the system it has got to accumulate a charge which will go to kundalini and motivate it. But one has to learn the correct locks and also the correct mental posture to use during the infusion.
If the breath infusion is achieved, then there will be a natural sensual-energy withdrawal if one sits to meditate immediately thereafter. Sensual energy withdrawal is the fifth stage of yoga, and the one before it, the fourth stage is pranayama practice.
From pranayama practice one should achieve the fifth stage in one lick, or stated differently the completion of breath infusion, should cause sensual energy withdrawal as a side effect. If there is enough liquor in the system one will not be able to focus on stress. This causes the most stressed person to become happy for the time being, as a result. Similarly if one does breath infusion, then one will not be able to focus on stress. The senses will pull themselves in and lose interest in what is happening in the outer world and even in the lower astral planes.
Let me run this by you again:
First there is breath infusion to the extent that kundalini rises in one way or the other in the psyche. This results in a pratyahar sensual energy achievement in one lick without any other effort to achieve this.
But then what?
In meditation what are you to shoot for? What is the objective? How do you know that you are going on the right track?
The first accomplishment in mediation is that the sensual energies are not pouring out of the head going out trying to find fulfillments. You have to feel that this has stopped before any attempt at meditation has meaning. If you are not doing breath infusion, then what is your method for inducing introspection?
Is it recitation of sounds (mantra)?
Is it visualization?
Whatever it is, is it effective?
As soon as you achieve internalization of the sensual energies where they are no long pouring out of the head, then we can begin.
=================
But where do we begin?
What do we do internally?
We are shutting down one system so as to develop another higher system. This is what it is.
But it is not as easy as 1-2-3.
Once the sensual energy stops outpouring from of the psyche, and mainly through the frontal face area, then the next achievement is to be sure that in the psyche there is no normal mental operation, no analysis, no emotional consideration and expression which has to do with things of the material world.
To achieve this I recommend the naad sound as a shelter, as a hiding place where the thought-image-idea operations cannot reach you and cannot solicit energy from you to run a show in the frontal part of the subtle head.
If you do not hear naad sound then for you, it would be a location at the back of the head where you find that when you are there, when you are attentive to that location, the thought-image-idea operations just do not occur in the mind.
=================
Once this is achieved, then it is a waiting game.
How long would you have to wait?
It depends on your mento-emotional condition, one what the Indians terms as samskara or subtle impressions which are in your psyche. The more of these you have the longer you will have to play the waiting game. Some persons get worked up about this and cease the practice. That is okay. If you are serious and determined then for you, ceasing is not an option.
This morning there was some success first with breath infusion to raise kundalini multiple times, and to cause intensification and exploding of infused energy. Then there was success after sitting to meditate, to find that the sensual energies were withdrawn, shut down where they had no interest in their sensual foods.
Then naad focus was stable. I was in the spine behind the chest looking down through a blank space which is the sushumna nadi. I did not hear anything in the nadi but I heard naad up in the subtle head, at the lower back part of it.
Then I began to play the waiting game at that place down in the sushumna which is behind the chest area but smack in the center of the spine. It seemed that there was a blank energy in the sushumna channel, like a hollowed-out cylinder.
Then shortly after there was success. I found myself relocated into the center of the subtle head, at the default position which is assumed by the core-self. To my left just behind the right cheek in the head of the subtle body, I saw a rabbit on grassland. This is remote viewing being done in the head of the subtle body without peering outside of the head. The little animal scurried off. Then there was gold color like gold nuggets. Then there were a series of human faces. I do not know what their location was.
Then this began to recede, began to disappear. Then I took an action which is important which is not to try to grasp or demand that the vision remain. To slacken one’s mental grip on it. To let it be free to function. It happened on its own, therefore if it is to stay, it will have to stay on its own. The yogi should not get any controlling ideas as if he can make anything happen.
If you have some transcendental perception, then you have reached the next sage but do not push your luck, do not get into a controlling attitude thinking that you can make this happen
This is an incubation process where the chicken will hatch out if sufficient warmth is provided. The chick does not have to do anything but sit it out and it will happen. The chicken cannot make it happen and should not try to do that. It only needs to sit still and wait.

bandika's query:
How long should a breath infusion session last in order to achieve kundalini raising? Is it possible for a beginner to achieve that or it needs more time and practice?
Could you explain what you mean by correct mental posture?
