Material Nature and Its Victims

Today during breath infusion practice I had a flash vision of material nature as a giant bird of prey with a very sharp beak for its weapon. It had a creature in its claws. It was tearing the vital organs out of the body of the creature. The animal was still alive. It was in terror looking at the giant eagle bird which was coolly cutting out delicate parts of its body with its fearsome sword-like beak.
Then I had this vision of myself going to the rescue of the wounded creature but the eagle did not budge and did not even notice my approach, as if I was to have zero impact on its predatory skills and means.
Can I rescue anyone?
This is the question.
Will the eagle release any of its victims?
Material nature, like the eagle is very dispassionate. It has no idea about what it is like to be a victim. It is totally unaware of the trauma experienced by the spiritual entities who are in oneness with it.

Marcia Beloved's Reply:
You must not think of it this way! You must keep on with your rescue work and not look for immediate results!
Material nature is capable of releasing her grip but only at her own whim. For those people who will become liberated, there would be no hope but for the rescuers whose presence and teachings point the way.
If you lose hope, how will others keep on striving?

I always have a certain hate for the way nature functions "kill or be killed" for the sake of surviving, that's just cruel. In a way I don't even blame mankind for everything but nature itself for this creation being made this way?
If nature have the right to do with us whatever it wants, do we have the right to exploit it? In what perspective should be one looking at this whole nature creation?

Thomer,
The question you listed is incomplete:
It should be like this:
Do we have the right to exploit nature at nature's expense?
Because if we have to do it at our expense, that might be a problem.
From the other angle, if nature can exploit us at our expense, then for us that is also a problem.

Thomer!
This is very brilliant question. I have a similar feeling. If we accept nature as it is described here, it is difficult indeed to respect it.

Try and be happier in your life and respecting whatever should come easier.

There is always a problem and a conflict when the individual view Nature as a separate force even though it very well may be.
The problem is, that all the instruments of making discriminate judgments, distinctions perceptions and analysis, along with all the organs of perception are the products or bi products of the same Nature, and so who is really making these assessments? A better approach might be to sit quietly and see if one can actually distinguish oneself from the nature on an experiential level...then come back and we can discuss all these lofty things sensibly..

MiBeloved's Response:
Statements like these require that old Christian exclamation:
Praise the Lord!!!
