Lahiri Mahasaya gave me an assurance this morning during meditation about the base chakra, how it is necessary to get that region of the subtle body permanently illuminated by a bright astral light.

This base chakra is the lowest of the spinal chakras when considered from a vertical position perspective, but it is also the most dense energy chakra. If one can get this chakra to be full of light (tejas), then that would be quite an achievement.
