Link with Great Masters

Breath Infusion practice this morning was good. I did not feel the presence of Tibeti but I did his practice which took about 30 minutes to complete. After that I tried to meet up with Srila Yogeshwaranand and was successful in contacting him. He did not have much to say but encouraged me to spur on and to increase the internal focus so that there is full internal attentiveness within the psyche. This within the psyche not within the self.

I am not going into the self when I go internally. The effort is to go within the psyche to supervise the relation of the various components in the psyche and to put the core-self up as the big boss instead of it being the little scruffy guy who people insult by calling it the ego.

So during this practice, Srila Yogesh was suddenly within range when I got to a certain amount of breath infusion and the subtle body jumped to a higher plane of consciousness.

He was showing me that for him to help me to see spiritual reality more, I have to increase the quantity of pure pranic energy which is in the subtle body.

Is this all there is to it?

Is it as simple as that?

Is pranayama practice that important in the ashtanga yoga process?

After I made contact with the level on which he is currently residing, everything felt lighter. The subtle body was no longer dense in any way. I worked on various parts of the head of the subtle body, blasting out any stale energy which was hanging out, lingering to support lower levels of consciousness.

At a certain point there was this area which turned yellow hot but it was without heat just with light everywhere as if I had ignited something.

It would be nice, wouldn’t it, if the student yogis would link up with great masters of the past instead of mentally linking up with people in the social field who have no spiritual interest.

Why is it that we naturally link up with those who have no yoga concerns and we rarely find ourselves in a telepathic link with the great souls?

Because the intention set by the ego does not permeate past the bounds of the psyche. These are the mundane things we are accustomed to and desire in physical life. If the intention and purpose requires existence beyond the mirage created by the psyche, telepathic link with advance souls is possible.
