Light Behind a Coal Mountain

The exercise session this morning was good with just a few interruptions of thoughts. It is amazing how just one or two thoughts even can be just as disturbing as if one had many of them instead. It depends on the power released in the thoughts and the energy which was embedded in the thoughts force from its source person.

One thought from one person was very persistent and it hung in the mind like a jelly fishy floating beneath the waves in an ocean. It took some infusion of breath energy to dissolve it out.

During the exercises I saw a few advanced yogis like Swami Shivananda and Rishi Singh Gherwal. Swami Shivananda was very very far off and I was only in contact with him for a short period when kundalini arose into the head, and gushed through the back top of the head. He did not say anything but he looked in my direction casually, just as when one hears a bird among some bushes and one looks over to see what it is.

Because kundalini rose in a specific way and with a certain forceful pressure, it propelled me into the dimension the Swami lived in and so I became perceptible there for about 15 seconds. Kundalini however subsided and even though it raised again it did not propel the psyche into that specific dimension again.

When I sat to meditate, it took some 15 minutes to reach naad sound. A question of why arises. The reason was that the thought force which disturbed me during the exercise session damaged some mental energy and that kept me distracted for about 15 minutes until I was able to get everything aligned properly in the head of the subtle body. Naad sound was not in the usual place which is near the left ear. It was at the top back of the head and it was quieter than it normally is. In any case, I tried to go into its influence but I was unsuccessful at first.

I tried for about five times and each time, I would enter naad and then find myself in some other part of the mind again. Then I would return to naad but for some reason, I could not stay there. Then after this I entered naad again and then I was able to stay in the back of the head but did not hear naad even though I was in its influence.

Sometimes, it happens that one enters naad, remains in it and does not hear naad even though one is in it. This is because at sometimes when one enters naad the subtle hearing sense tunes out. This is okay in this practice, provided one is still remaining in the zone of naad.

As I stressed again and again, much of meditation practice has to do with location, psychic location, mystic location, supernatural location, call it what you will. It is not direction-less. It is not vague. It is not void with no sense of up or down.

After being in the naad zone while not hearing naad, things seem to settle down in the psyche, especially in the frontal part of the head. Thus I took the step to look forward. Then suddenly there was a light glowing in the front but it was like if I was seeing a sun rise behind a large round mountain. It was as if the mountain was as black as coal and then that light was rising through a hazy atmosphere. That was there for a while and then it disappeared and a flattish rectangular type of misty light appeared.

Rishi Sing Gherwal was not there but he had left an energy for explaining that light and it read something like this:

“Perception of these lights are determined by the amount of energy which is infused into the psyche. That energy causes the psyche to reach a level where such supernatural perception is possible. Perception of these lights do not come about by desire to see the lights, nor by making efforts to force the lights to appear. One sees the lights when one reaches a dimension in which the psyche used in that world, has the perception capability.

“Thus the whole effort to advance in yoga requires a re-figuring by the yogi in regards to what he desires to achieve. Suppose you are in the astral world as a ghost being without a material body. Then just trying as hard as you can to be a physical being will never make you physical. But if you enter a physical being’s feelings then you might come out as a physical being in the physical world as that person’s progeny. Similarly if you take birth or rather develop an existence in a higher dimension, you will have the supernatural perception which is natural to that level of existence.”

Special Note:

Some advanced yogis leave instructions behind in the astral world for their students. This is similar to leaving written instructions for someone or leaving a will. A yogi who does not want to remain on a certain astral level for someone, can leave a message for that person. That information will then be activated when that person reaches that level and needs the information. This might be considered as a type of psychic technology.

To get and to correctly read that message, one has to have a mind that is free from biases and lower disruptive and corrosive energies.
