Last Night in the Astral

Last night I was in an astral dimension with two relatives, who are my senior and who are still using material bodies. I made a diagnosis of these persons to get some insight into why they only see material existence as being substantial. This same idea is with many persons who say that they are on the spiritual path.
If a person is primarily focused on the material side of existence, and has no focus on the subtle side, then no matter what their philosophy of life is, the main thing is that their focus on material existence will cause them to return into a physical body as soon as there is an opportunity.
It is not so much what you believe, or what your religion is or isn’t. It is not if you are a naive theist or a liberal atheist. It is your focus. Is material existence your primary focus?
Are you confident of material existence above everything else? In that case, then, you are going to remain in that mind-self if you leave your body, or if there is a survival of any part of your psychology beyond death of the material body.
The two relatives, whom I was within the astral world, were involved in doing repairs on their astral house. To them however this was a physical premise. Even though we were on an astral plane where nothing is solid, their environment was behaving as if it was a physical place. They are still using physical body and with that they maintain a parallel existence without knowing that they are doing so. They have already created their living situation in the astral realms even though their physical selves (bodies) are still living.
They asked me about doing some repairs on the building for them and I agreed to do so but I was looking at their mind-set all along to see exactly what makes a person tick in this way, where the only thing substantial is the material body and the material things which are required for the satisfaction of that form.
The only thing I could see was their focus into matter, into gross matter. So long as that continues, so long as one does not hack away at that, so long as one does not make efforts to abandon that, one will remain as a person whose psyche requires a physical body for fulfillments.
