There is this system which I have been doing for a while:
It involves spontaneous movements.. sitting in a certain posture, hands in a special way and legs in a special way.. eventually the legs will get tired and will get into neural reflexing mode starting bouncing up and down in a rapid way.. you just hold it that way the whole session. in spiritual terms the vibrations will shake of the nadis and start the purification progress.. the vibrations are suppose to go up from the heels to the pelvic floor, the abdomen and so on.. at some stages magnetism sensations should be felt if the vibrations will cover the whole body. While I have read many negative stuff yet some positive stuff about the practice as well I thought I would just give it a try. Not really attracted to these whole tao stuff though..
Nothing to do with the Kunlun system, there is also a system called Trauma/Tension Releasing Exercises, which is very similar to the Kunlun System with the whole leg bouncing movements..

Also I pauses my Kriya Yoga practices since it just keeps getting harder to trace the spine up and down the more I practice.. it almost gets too frustrating to do a normal cycle, inhale and exhalation cycle.

Our system is similar except that it is not as passive.
We also do shivers and shakes to cause kundalini and also just infused energy to trickle through nadis which are blocked, like when for instance there is a kink in a garden or fire hose, and one shakes or rattles the hose and then the water shoots through the kinked part.

I don't blame you! The stuff is tough! It is very difficult to intuit; watching the videos is a great help especially if you already have a certain idea of what to do.
Once Michael meets with most people as you know is when things pick up. At a distance as in your case your best bet in my opinion is to connect for sessions through a webcam and have your practice checked.
