Kundalini Yoga Chakra-less Breath Infusion

Swami Muktananda gave two diagrams. The first diagram shows what the student must do until the base chakra is sealed. The second diagram shows what happens once the seal is permanently completed.

The student cannot permanently apply the ashwini mudra lock. This lock becomes sealed of its own accord after a certain amount of practice of doing breath infusion, raising kundalini and applying the base chakra lock.

How long does this take?

That question I cannot answer because it varies from student to student according to the intensity of practice, the portion of deep insight the student has during practice and the regularity of practice.

How long did it take me to achieve the seal? I do not know. I just noticed this seal this week. I would say that at least 38 years of practice was required in my case. That is a safe guess. I was doing this practice since 1972.

To seal base chakra

In the first diagram the student has to push down the infused energy pass the frontal navel chakra (not the spine navel chakra). Then the student must push the energy around the pubic curve into the muladhara chakra grotto cave where kundalini relaxes and sleeps. Then up the spine into the head.

In the second diagram, the student pushes in breath infused energy and pulls up and out any used energy which is in the system. There is no block at the navel to deal with.
