Kundalini / Small Rises

Breath infusion students should be on cue for small rises of kundalini and small burst of compressed energy. These if possible should be pulled up into the chest area, then into the neck and finally into the head. All energy which is accumulated in the thighs, the groin area and the buttocks should be released from those tissues, mixed with infused fresh energy and then extracted from those regions and distributed into the upper parts of the trunk and into the head of the subtle body.

 

Initially the student must follow the lead of material nature, which serves as a teacher to illustrate how it accumulates energy and then expends the same for manufacture of pleasure. Pleasure seems to be automatic but it is for the most part a product of nature, manufactured by an elaborate process of energy acquirement energy mix, energy conversion, packing, shipping and then being expressed through particular organs.

 

The most frequent highlight of adult life is sexual pleasure, which is a high value pleasure-product of nature. After puberty nature trains the individual in the expression of this pleasure. In most human beings this training sticks in the mind as a favorable traumatic memory. In the minority, it is an unfavorable trauma.

 

It is a large expense account for nature but nature seems to think that it is worth the while. Due to this training in material nature within the emotions in the mind, I developed a habit of wanting to have a large accumulation of pleasure energy. I even wished for existence in a form and in a world where that is afforded forever.

 

This habit-need which is never to be fulfilled in the present circumstance remains as a promise-energy in the mind. It is supported by memory of the physical, mental and emotional actions which activate the run-away process of urge, increase of urge, mutual or self-indulgence and then climax-expression where the energy reserve is used and used until it utilizes the energy which fuels it.

When doing kundalini yoga, a student is not immediately freed from this way of fulfillment. Hence the student recognizes only large rises of kundalini and large accumulations of bliss force to be worth the while for observation and absorption. This is a mistake in the practice but one has to work one’s way through this to reach the plane of consciousness where the slightest, most subtle, the smallest release of kundalini and the smallest possible buildup of compressed infused energy, is appreciated.

 

These minor, seemingly non-sensational, releases, which are not perceived initially by the student, will come into perception as the practice develops. They should not be ignored as being insignificant. They should be arrested, and appreciated as much as the full-blown sensation expressions.

 

Put it this way:

 

If even the lady’s toe nail is sexy, then there need not be a full exposure which leads from her ankle, shin and beyond.  All pleasures in the form can be funneled through the toe nail and that can be the end of it. A divine form is like that where every part, any part of it, is capable of the full expression of any other part of the form. No part is specific to the point of a monopoly on any of the pleasures expressed in the form. This causes an ongoing lack of anxiety and a dismissal of the need for privacy. I won’t have to take my clothes off to have sex. I won’t have to be in a private place. Nudity has nothing to do with it. Rubbing bodies is primitive.

 

By checking on, appreciating and expressing the smallest most subtle rise of kundalini during practice, one prepares for transit to the spiritual form.
