The top diagram below is a general description of what a student yogi has to contend with in kundalini yoga practice. First there should be infusion into the lungs. This infused energy has to be pushed down to the navel, where it usually encounters constriction and blockage. Once the energy is pushed passed the navel it has to deal with the sexual organ chakra in the groin area. If there is a mix between this sexual energy and the infused energy, then that combination will spark across from the sex organ chakra to the base chakra.
This will in turn inspire kundalini to move from the base chakra. Provided the locks are applied, kundalini will make an attempt to move or will actually move, all depending on the forceful power of the charged force. When kundalini moves up however it will encounter blockage at the small of the back which is the spine area behind the navel. If kundalini has sufficient impetus, if it is in a hurry, if it is fully motivated, it will go up through the small of the back and will burst from there with lightning speed up the spine into the brain.
This is the preliminary process which may take years or even lifetimes of practice to master.
In the second diagram which is above this paragraph, I show the advanced configuration. In this the old system of energizing kundalini and causing it to move up the spine by using accumulated breath force and sex energy force, is no longer relevant.
At this stage the muladhara chakra is demolished because of the student’s constant raising of kundalini in the preliminary practice. At this stage also the sex organ chakra has faded. Sexual energy no longer is hoarded in this area of the psyche. It is instead dissipated through the psyche as soon as it is produced. At this stage also the navel block no longer exists.
While in the preliminary stage the student works against gravity which causes food energy to move down to the pubic area. In the advanced stage this system of submission to gravity is demolished by the yogi. Then his or her only concern is the pull-up energy in the front part of the body, in the middle part and in the spinal part.
