Kundalini Non Spiritual Benefits

Does Raising Kundalini to the head everyday have other benefits which are non spiritual like physical or mental and emotional benefits, such as anxiety.. memory perhaps.. brain/body functions? and is it likely when one raises Kundalini the blissful and other energetic energy effects of it can last hours after the season?

I know that long lasting of effects depends on when the sushumna is permanently open.. but there are some forums I read where people claim they awakened Kundalini and are feeling almost the whole day ecstasy bliss and other energetic kind of experiences like I have mentioned before.. but they don't seem to raise Kundalini everyday.. they regard kundalini as being "awakened" or "active" kind of confusion, I feel like there are huge differences when comparing raising kundalini everyday than their Kundalini awakened or active version.. of course it's a different system, for example this one uses Kapalbhati or Bhastrika, and the other one belongs to Kriya yoga tracing the sushumna up and down which will eventually awaken/raise Kundalini.. in the end both practices are doing the same thing? Touching the sushumna.. that's why it doesn't make sense how they get this whole immense kind of bliss type kind of thing 24/7 when people on this forum are raising kundalini daily and I don't hear stuff like that..

My experience is that when kundalini arises it goes up the spine in most cases and then it quickly subsides or returns down to the base chakra which is its default habitat.

I can neither deny nor affirm the experience of others. For one thing we have to be sure that visualization of kundalini being aroused is not confused with an actual movement of kundalini; that it is not a make-belief something.

But if someone can make kundalini stay up all day long, then that is good for the person. If you have an interest in their method, then inquire, get it, use it and see what result it gives you.

The main interest a yogi should have in kundalini arousal is the resulting insight consciousness, not the bliss aspect of. The question then is:

Does the insight last all day?

If not how long does it last, irrespective of the bliss feelings in it?

Jettins’ query:

I wonder what insight consciousness means here. Is it "the capacity to discern the true nature of a situation" consciousness?

Regarding the name of this thread, I was wondering about the non-spiritual benefits of kundalini when I made a post in another forum today.

Raising kundalini here is, according to what I have come across, is different from what it is considered in all other places, perhaps 5% of the times it comes close to it, especially when it is termed kundalini awakening!

Awaken? It never slept!

Hey Surya!

It's said that Kundalini has 7 layers awakening states LINK

MiBeloved's Response:

Insight consciousness is the ability to see into other dimensions directly through some type of supernatural or spiritual sense.

Oh okay. In your understanding what are those seven states? Even the preliminary ones!

So much information and stuff is available out there on kundalini, so much literature..., it's mind boggling.

Which one to focus on? Which one to pick? Which one is relevant to ones personal level?

A permanently awakened state of kundalini for my level of being is superfluous. It is like considering a spring of water in a water park staying up in the air and not coming back down. But in reality it falls back down immediately, due to gravity. But "magicians" can do these things I understand.

I really don't know. I only used to experience what everyone here experiences which is Kundalini raising to the head and subsides back to the root and the effects last a few minutes. After that nothing. There are 2 practices I practice for the sake of experiencing what everyone is talking about but I don't have any results yet.

Also I don't do any form of rapid breathing, but soon I will have a lot of time on my hands and due to that my physical body will have enough energy without feeling physically weak after a long day of work, and not eating late at night so the next day my abdomen will be strong enough to do the exhale push ins so I can try Kapalbhati again.

Only once I got the feel of Prana at the base of the spine and a very subtle feeling of energies moving around the system when I did Kapalbhati and ended with a few breaths of bhastrika and doing the locks. when I did the bhastrika part only then I actually felt heat raising in my body and the feeling that the air is actually being absorbed that's when I finally understood what Michael was talking about all this time about the lungs taking the air in.

MiBeloved's Response:

After that there is a residual effect. It is not void but initially it is not that noticeable because it is incremental. Over time it increases and accumulates. This is shown in the lifestyle changes and realization application during ordinary life even at time when the breath infusion is not done.

The nadis are gradually cleaned out and stay clean. That permits insight at all times even when there is no intense bliss feeling or perception of light within the subtle body.

There are 2 initial stages of Kundalini awakening.

The first one subsides after the Kundalini goes up. Srila Yogeshwarananda uses the simile of a room where when you turn on the switch, appliances and light are on temporarily till the switch is turned off.

The second, permanent one he said is when the switch is turned on, the appliances and light go on, and then continue as the electricity stays on.

One has to be patient and attest to what the elders say, one has to have confidence in what the Mahayogis accomplished.

There are unlimited benefits of Kundalini Awakening. Non spiritual benefits are also in your language. In my language there is nothing non spiritual for us. Everything we do, think, plan, create, destroy have spiritual and astral effects.

I can give you many examples of Kundalini Awakening benefits in daily life.

1. You can choose what to do, spiritually in very difficult situation, in which high degree of creativity & solutions are available to Yogi.

2. The high level of problem reduces to very low level automatically because we are aligned to universe and its laws.

3. Health benefits for physical as well as soul. After all most of the health issues starts from soul.

4. Knowledge of past, present, future, right and wrong comes within us so we can act accordingly.

5. Our mind remains very calm which provides more solutions. Anger & ego generally goes away.

6. Humanity and love emotion rises to high level which leads us to help others.

7. Alignment of self with born skills. We are born with certain skills but many times these skills wash away with time but Kundalini helps to retain those skills.

8. The situations in life molds us and forces us to move in certain direction without our knowledge which is the help of universe to us to complete our destiny.

The list is long..
