Kundalini Downward Strike

During this afternoon session of breath infusion, there was a spot check made by Srila Yogeshwarananda, where he made a remark about causing kundalini to strike downwards. The routine practice is to cause kundalini to go up sushumna nadi but in the more advanced stages, that loses significance when the yogi gets to understand that he has to elevate every part of the subtle body, not just the spine and head of it.
Then it becomes a requirement to locate and eliminate all parts of the subtle body which have dense astral energy. One hard to reach area is below the base chakra.
That chakra itself has a territory which is below it. However when kundalini is struck at first with the energy of the breath infusion mixed with subtle hormone energy, kundalini is prohibited from going downwards by the application of the anus lock and the combination sex locks. This causes kundalini to go upward, which is the desired effect at that stage of practice. Once, however, this is attained, the yogi should tackle the base chakra itself. This means the base chakra and its territory which is below it. This is not the kundalini which is housed at the base chakra but the chakra and its nadi energy distribution system.
Chakra is one thing. Kundalini is another. This is for targeting the territory of the base chakra itself, so that the infused energy strikes out in a downward direction, either taking kundalini with it or just going downwards through the nadis all by itself.
What happens?
Well just as when kundalini moves upwards there is light flashing up through the spine and there is light in the head or there is a feeling of bliss energy with no visuals. So in the same way the energy moves down through the thighs, legs and feet. It flashes downwards within the psyche. It does not leak out through any orifices or chakras. It stays in the psyche and illuminates the dark areas in the thighs, legs and feet, so that these areas light up as if lightning struck within them.
