How closely related is the rising of kundalini and the clearing of the channel(s) to the head?
More on the question: if the channels or the pathway to the head were unobstructed would kundalini just rise freely as if freed from gravity? Or are there other elements in play?

Initially due to blockage in the subtle sushumna nadi channel which is the spine of the astral body, the kundalini cannot penetrate the spine. But all the same the kundalini is not interested in making that penetration anyway. Its default interest in the head of the subtle body is to get sensual information about what is taking place outside of the body. It uses the faculties in the head, to get information on how best to proceed with its survival-reproduction behaviors.
For these purposes it does not need a completely cleared spinal passage.
For a student kundalini will rise only when something happens to force it to do so. Its interest in rising occurs in our creature existence mode by sensual excitement and by sexual climax of energy. In other words, the first thing you have to understand and perhaps you are overlooking this for one reason or the other, is that kundalini does rise during any type of sensual excitement and especially during sexual intercourse.
Do you realize this? Or do you think that sex climax is not kundalini. The average person living in a modern city, who is say about 25 years of age is raising kundalini on a daily basis by sexual indulgence. That is happening. So kundalini has a passage which it takes from the base chakra to the genitals. Let us also review that type of experience to realize that there is usually flirtation and foreplay before sexual climax. There might also be vision of pornographic films.
I don’t know about you but let me go over this in my own situation. Okay, so I was looking at this film and suddenly the scenes changed into sex scenes with a man and man having sexual interplay and then a man and woman doing the same. These sensual delights and excitements came into my psyche through my eyes and then reached my emotional energy. This spread through my body and I experienced sexual arousal. Because I was in a theatre I could not play it out and I did not have a partner.
Later that day I met my girlfriend and invited her to my apartment. Because I was stimulated earlier and because kundalini was struck by the sensual energy which came into the eye and spread through the psyche, kundalini encouraged me to be craving sexual indulgence. Then while having sex with my girlfriend, I ejaculated in a rush as kundalini vented its electrical energy through my genitals.
Kundalini has a passage which it used to flow into and through the genitals but I am not aware of that passage until there is the flow of climax of energies and it is so intense that I cannot properly determine where the passage is specifically, or the size of the passage. I just experience this rush of pleasure which overtakes my objective awareness of the experience.
In what I wrote above, you might notice that it was not clear to me where the passage was that kundalini took. For that matter to be honest, I am not even sure how kundalini created that intense electric sexual pleasure, because it washed me out and I lost my objectivity having been merged into the pleasure, become one with that sexual energy.
But I can deduce that kundalini took a certain passage because it did not feel as intense in say my arm or toe as it did in the genital area. It must have taken a passage and it takes the same passage during all of these sex climax experiences.
This means that kundalini bores its way through a blocked passage during the sex climax, and then soon after that passage is shut down and kundalini too gets sluggish because it loses its energy build up. If I try to have sex immediately after, it is difficult sometimes to get the energy up again, unless I wait a day or two for the hormonal energy to build up or unless I take a drug.

In a student yogi, the spinal passage to the head is blocked just as the sexual passage is. And just as when there is a forceful build up of sex energy by foreplay, by pornography and by flirtation, kundalini forces itself though the blocked channel. But as soon as it is discharged, the passage becomes blocked again.

This is like asking this question:
If the sexual channels or path way to the genitals were not obstructed, would kundalini just have a continuous sexual climax?
What do you think the answer to that question would be?
Let us stick to sex, because that is something we know something about. Samadhi, kundalini in the head and so on are farfetched ideas, getting into what is abstract and subjective. Sex is down to earth and objective and is our common experience.
So maybe by taking some drug like marijuana for instance of Viagra, a person might have some continuous opening of the channel to the genitals and might feel a continuous sexual experiences for hours. What do you think? Have you heard of anything like that? Did you ever smoke pot and have sex? Or did you use some other drug and then have sex? Has anyone on this forum, had that experience?
Maybe we should ask Hugh Heffner since he is an expert in this area. Recently in a very old body he was to marry a woman who could have been his grand-daughter. And what about Paul McCartney. He is supposed to be married to a young woman soon. These guys must know about this.

I had in the past practiced "the cultivation of the male chi energy" which has to do with seminal retention. And, avoiding ejaculation while attaining climax repeatedly over time, along with other practices that increase the production of semen have had the result of relatively allowing continuous or perhaps prolonged "orgasm". In addition, sexual experiences could be repeated until physical exhaustion since desire would not really fade, even after hours of stimulation. But ultimately, this was the wrong endeavour for me. Such activities cause agitation and anguish to the shelter disembodied spirits.
In essence immorality in general even as it is mainly defined according to religiosity has the specific and precise effect of maintaining kundalini in its preferred zone and avoiding its rising since the pathways become blocked, when looked at from the kryia perspective?

Material nature is supposed to provide the individual limited spirits with experiences. That is the mission of nature according to Patanjali. Thus all of these processes of enjoyments and all these evolutionary challenges are there for the taking, but of course each comes with a consequence.
The consequence of having an experience is the real value in the experience and not the experience itself. Primitive entities, even in modern human beings are all after the varied experience and they do not understand that the thing of value is the consequence. But in time they come to see this after repeatedly being stymied by imposed circumstances.
The reason it takes so long to understand this, is the fact that the consequences usually come in another life. In other words because I cannot link a present fated circumstance to something I experienced in a past life, I cannot draw any valid conclusions.
One of things I repeatedly have to deal with time and again is rampant ignorance about reincarnation. Arguments arise between me and others merely because I am talking about a series of lives and the connecting actions and reactions, and the other person speaks about this life, fitting all actions and reactions which occur within the format of this one lifetime.
It is actually a hellish thing to be in a world where everyone is insisting on just seeing things fitting into this life alone, but for the time being I have to endure this.
The actions have no value. They are empty shells. The value is in the consequences, because it is only by the consequences that a limited being can get any understanding about what nature is all about. Since however the consequences may be sealed, packaged in one life and then unsealed and released in another life, the limited entities are at a great disadvantage, because they just cannot add up what is going on.
They do however get some immediate satisfaction by their faulty equations which are compressed into this life alone. And they are happy with this primitive math. Much of this is discussed in the book I just finished which is the Anu Gita Explained.
Sex experience is just one of the experiences. The full exploration of it is endless because it involves the use of the affection energies which unfortunately can be converted into many different affections. If one converts that over and over into different kinds of relationships, there will come a time when one will lose all track of morality and will not know what is right or wrong.
But right and wrong has to do with the social environment and how nature reacts to various types of hook-up relationships. Wanting to have endless happiness, one chases after some type of pleasure which would be continuous but again and again we see that nature frustrates that endeavor. And in any case it depends on the type of life form one has. Can any limited spirit show me a way of keeping a particular life form forever?
Assuming that I found a way like the Chinese chi system to have continuous sexual pleasure, then what will happen when the body dies. The chi masters of that system are all dead and gone, so what will happen when the body dies, because presently I will be using the physical body to generate that sexual energy. So that is the snag in all of this.
Actually this morning this matter was being discussed by Rishi Singh Gherwal in the astral world. It was me and some of his other disciples. He was blaming sexual pleasure as the main cause of student yogis getting stalled in kriya yoga practice.

I agree that exploitation of the sexual energy will become a problem when its consequence comes in the form of resentments from disembodied ancestors who require bodies and who are deprived of such bodies by any method of contraception.
One will also have to deal with any reactions nature dished out because of feeling offended by one’s decision to side step raising progeny.
This is not about God. This is about nature itself and the individual entity.
Even if God goes away and never comes back again, like an atheist would prefer, still nature is there with its reactionary behavior which a limited being cannot adjust for his or her convenience.

Some effort must be made to study how kundalini operates through the sexual facilities. Those who are involved in sexual indulgence should make efforts to objectively get some understanding during the sexual acts, of how kundalini is involved. Those who are not involved in sex at this time, but who were previously in this life, should reach back in their memories and study the situation in retrospect.
